Seen by a very competent young lady today for a blood test. She is always very kind and efficient. Thank you very much.

  2. Review titled Great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Cannot praise this practice highly enough. Was given 2 week urgent referral at end of July. Practice then chassis hospital for results without any prompting and kept me updated. I appreciate everyone has a different personal experience. For me, I have been with the practice for over 50 years. There have obviously been massive changes over the years but my own experience has always been of excellent prompt care.

  3. Review titled Terrible Practice

They do not follow up on anything relating to medical matters of urgency. They say they haven't received letters when I actually handed my copy in by hand. They have not forwarded X-rays to relevant hospitals and have still not dealt with a letter from an anesthetist.

  4. Review titled Absolutely terrible practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

The changes in this practice in the last 10years have made the whole place seem unwelcoming and anonymous. It's impossible to get hold of someone. I tried to make an appointment to see a GP but was told to log onto the NHS website to arrange it. But then I was told they had reached capacity. This was only 12pm on a week day!) So there was an option to call them, which I did. Only to be told that they couldn't do anything ands to use the online system the next day. This is pathetic. What an awful way to run a practice. This is why people have lost trust in the NHS. The whole set up is designed to prevent you from engaging with people. Run by robots, hiding behind procedure. If I could give a worse review, I would.

I've tried to get an appointment to speak to someone about my grandmother who has dementia she signed a form saying I can deal with everything at the gp practice and they still keep saying we need to talk to her and I have to keep reminding them that she won't talk on the phone as she won't know who's calling and that there is a letter saying I can deal with everything for her.

  6. Review titled A disgrace

Rude, unsympathetic GP who left me feeling worthless and of no use.Came away feeling worse than when I’d arrived. Had it not been for a kind stranger who found me in tears outside the surgery and took time to comfort me I’m not sure what my next intention would have been

  7. Review titled Disappointed

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Everything about booking an appointment seems to be designed to make it difficult, particularly if you have an issue that is not an emergency. The online form is unnecessarily complicated. Having to wait around for a call back for several hours can be inconvenient when you also have a job. Trying to explain a problem over the phone can be hard and suggesting that you might find it easier face to face feels like you are making a nuisance of yourself. If we cannot use our GPS to consult about non urgent medical problems and receive advice and help then where can we go? Surely that’s one of the purposes of primary care? My last few interactions with this practice have been uncaring and distant.
