I phoned the surgery at 8am. An appointment was arranged, saw a nurse at 11.30. Picked up the tablets at 12pm. First class.

my disabled husband had liver scan received a text from surgery to make an appointment called several times long wait no answer. went on line to request an appointment received a text to book an appointment none available! advised to call what a joke surely they have a duty of care to advise if test results in a timely fashion. have called as instructed guess what long wait no answer. one medical group are definitely in it for the money not patient care. would give no stars

  4. Review titled needs a change in the system

I’ve been severely ill for the past two weeks. I’ve tried to get an appointment, but you have to wake up at 8-8:30 am and basically battle a queue of over twenty people just to try to book a same-day slot. Once the call finally goes through, the receptionist tells you all the appointments are fully booked for the day and to try again tomorrow—haha. I then asked the receptionist for advice, as I was unable to get an appointment multiple times. She suggested doing an e-consult, so I put in my symptoms and described my current situation, but then it instructed me to call 911, so I couldn't complete the e-consult. I ring 911, and they tell me to go to the pharmacist; the pharmacist then tells me to call my GP or 911 again. It’s a never-ending loop. The least they could do is provide a sick note, but of course, I’d need an appointment for that—haha. The nurse practitioner is also very dismissive and rude. If you can actually get through to a doctor all is well, but it's basically impossible. I understand healthcare workers are overworked and that the NHS has its downsides, but care should be given to the people who need it, to reassure them, not reject them. There Is a reason why this gp is rated an average of 2.4 on google...

  6. Review titled Great practice

I had the need to call the practice and had some tests arranged. All were carried out in a timely manner and I was sent a text to call the practice for the results. The Doctor called me to explain I needed further treatment which was organised for the following few days. Everyone I spoke to was pleasant kind and helpful. The reception staff, although extremely busy, are always willing to help and get the right help for me.

  8. Review titled Great Practice

I work in the care sector as a quality manager for a domiciliary company. I have to say that all GP surgeries are difficult and we very rarely get feedback on any of our clients that we care for. I had a call from one of the GP's at the Whitehouse surgery earlier to give me feedback on one of our clients. All information has been valuable to us as a care provider and we would like to say a huge thank you to the surgery and the GP for taking the time to respond by phone and working together as a team.

  9. Review titled the very best of nhs

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The care and treatment from all the doctors has been 'above & beyond', when the doctor called me on the phone they talked to me as if I was the only people in their care... I felt cared for and supported. The reception staff were also so professional and courteous even when my call was probably at the end of their long hard day, can't speak too highly of the practice... wonderful care of my elderly father. So quick in arranging for the follow-up medical treatment involving seeing a specialist and having an xray. I've lived in a number of places over the last 66 years and this has been the very Best Doctors Surgery I've ever experienced

  10. Review titled Excellent communication

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Norma Prior - Posted on 01 September 2023

I was waiting for X-ray results. I spoke with a very friendly but professional lady and we agreed if there was anything severe, someone would be in touch. A doctor called me today and followed up with a text message as I was out! Result is moderate so there was no need to phone but same doctor agreed to an X-ray and then followed up with both phone call and text to briefly explain and offering further consultation if necessary. Thank you very much. I am most grateful.
