Once again, I have experienced responsive and patient-centred care this morning from Whiteladies HC - a conversation with the receptionist first thing, a discussion with the doctor just now and an appointment booked for early next week. I felt compelled to write in the current climate to say how every contact I have had with the practice has been so positive. The receptionists have universally been approachable and helpful, the GPs responsive, knowledgeable and kind and the practice nurse has been great. Managing a colleague (I am a hospital doctor) is not always easy but I have felt listened to at every interaction - and have been treated the same whether that was known or not. The public often dont tell us when we are doing well, but I thought you should know.

After 4 weeks of coughing I phoned the surgery for an appointment and got one the same day. Thank you to the Irish GP for the excellent service. I am still not 100% but with your examination and the result of the xray I am confident I will recover. Thank you. Tina

Receptionists on multiple occasions, ignored my requests and put them in the system incorrectly. Led to me to see the wrong clinician and go untreated for 2 weeks

The male GP was practical, to the point and put me at ease; I felt he was genuinely focused on me and wanting to help. The lady on Reception, was understanding, kind and did her utmost to find a convenient appointment – she demonstrated real empathy with my worries and upset.

I cannot fault the staff at Whiteladies Medical Centre. I required help three times in the recent weeks and each member of staff I spoke to was helpful and friendly. The appointment system in place is really good and I've been able to get the help I've needed in a very quick timeframe. The doctors are brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Interest and engagement from Dr was first rate. Diagnosis was explained as was the options for long term treatment. Booking of appointment was very bureaucratic and in some aspects (adjusting time of pre booked appointment) was bizarrely complicated.

The doctor I had an appointment with, she did a lot of examination and tests on my feet and was very attentive. She asked me a lot of questions and answered all my questions. I felt comfortable and I really thanks her.

When well staffed works perfectly with several very hood team members whether doctors, nurses or support staff - I mean reception etc. I believe during winter season like many other places there can be problems with some services e.g. waiting for a month for a blood tests... - I was told that this has improved by now - I hope do... but great care by knowledgable doctors and nurses...
