I have put off having my coil removed for 4 years due to fear, had it removed today by an amazing nurse, what a fabulous woman, she made me feel confident from the start and we actually laughed throughout the whole procedure, can't praise her enough!!!!!

Review titled Knowledgeable Practitioner
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Heather Clark - Posted on 02 February 2025
My review is about the Back Pain Specialist & Physiotherapist First Contact Practitioner. His knowledge, experience & expertise has enabled me to make huge changes in my life. His ability to listen, empathise, sympathise & communicate has been life changing. The face to face individual appointment gave me the opportunity to discuss my health & wellbeing with, at the same time as learning from his knowledge & skills in the management of chronic pain. He introduced me to a new way of dealing with chronic pain, whilst learning new skills & strategies to improve my quality of life going forward. I am extremely grateful for the professional care & attention I have received & would thoroughly recommend the excellent service He & the Chestfield Medical Centre provides. Having lived with chronic pain & fatigue for many years I can definitely say this approach has changed my quality of life for the better. Providing me with the knowledge, skills & support I required to correct the underlying misinterpretation of chronic pain. I feel so much better following the appointment I have had with him & have made several positive changes which support my health & wellbeing. Thank you to him & the Chestfield Medical Centre for the service they both provide.

I would like to say a massive thank you to the nurse practioner , who saw me. Due to her help my doctors have managed to see me and im now able to get the help i need after a face to face appointment and a complete blood pannel. I am incredibly grateful for what said nurse has done for me.

Review titled Registered Nurse Consultation.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Paul Elliott - Posted on 25 November 2024
Earlier this morning I had my blood pressure and some bloods taken by one of the Registered Nurses at Estuary View Medical Centre. I would like to pay complement this Nurse upon her biopsychosocial and person centred approach to myself as the patient. She was most professional, in terms of her communication she was clear in explaining both procedures in a humanistic and supportive manner. Her technique for both procedures was professional and consistent with the NMC Code. Very well done.

Review titled A great experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Katrina - Posted on 08 September 2024
The patient coordinater at the front door was so mindful and considerate, they was very discreet with my reason for being there which I really appreciated as it was a private matter I found them to be very helpful when getting booked in and was very clear on where I needed to go and how to get there without them I wouldn’t have had a clue on what to do or where to go they played a key role upon my arrival and departure. The nurses and the doctor that I saw for my treatment were the best they evidently took their roles very seriously , I actually cried out of relief that for the first time in a long time someone actually listened and took precautionary measures to ensure that I received the correct treatment and made efforts to make me feel so comfortable the levels of professionalism was truely flawless.

Review titled Excellent
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Jodie - Posted on 09 August 2024
I just want to say just how impressed I am with the practice. We were seen too straight away by triage. Then we did have a little wait (1.5hrs) but to I didn't think this was long. I just saw ppl being seen to by professional and friendly staff. And when my wife got seen to by the nurse (wonderful lady) and she took the time to look and take in info. Not rushing it. So I would recommend going here if you need to be seen. Really impressed thank-you 😊

I would like to say that after I wrote a complaint on Friday 30th August 2024 I was treated very well by the practice. A lot of what I wrote in the complaint is still valid. However I went in person to the practice probably in anger about how I was treated. The receptionist was extremely helpful. Got in touch with Dr who saw me in person. This would not have happened if I didn’t have someone to take me to the doctors. I cannot walk and cannot drive with this injury this is not an available to everyone. I could not get through via telephone and it was only because someone offered to help me I was able to get to the surgery. However I am extremely grateful for what Dr did for me and the receptionist on duty. Thank you
