Review titled Urgent care unit is amazing
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Dianne - Posted on 03 April 2024
My husband saw the Dr on Good Friday with excruciating neck/shoulder pain. He mentioned that he’s suffered continuous headaches for 2 yrs and had been told to take paracetamol. The Dr in the urgent care unit was really understanding & attentive. He gave my husband medication for the shoulder pain which he thought was caused by his trapezium muscle & also did a referral for physio. Appt came through quickly & he’s had it this morning - 2 days after the Easter weekend. Bearing in mind it’s been Easter, that’s amazing. The physiotherapist has given him exercises to do & booked a follow up appt. All thanks to the Dr in the urgent care unit. Please pass on our appreciation to both the Dr and Physiotherapist

Review titled Excellent Experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Neil Snee - Posted on 12 April 2024
Over the past couple of months my wife and I had had need to use our Primary care service more than before for a number of differing issues, we always knew how lucky we are in this area but this year's experience has been exemplary. Access, timeliness, expertise, compassion and a great range of HCPs and services all on our doorstep. Today we used minor procedures and physio and both were not just superb but the staff involved made us feel so valued. Thank you

Review titled 3 yr Toddler experience walk in center
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Dean Newman - Posted on 19 April 2024
From start to finish our experience was amazing at the walk in center. The receptionist was so helpful and handing out stickers to my 3 yr old son who was waiting to be seen with a cough he has had for 3 weeks. I can’t remember any names exactly but our visit was at 19/4/23 at approx 1445. The nurse/practitioner was amazing and so friendly. Didn’t take anything for granted took x ray of sons chest asked second and third opinions of fellow professionals. The whole staff kept us informed and the experience was a complete contrast so my local GP at westgate on sea. The long and and short of it my sons GP said there was nothing wrong with his breathing and cough and was allergy related but the x ray showed a small fluid build up on his long and was issued antibiotics. I would happily bring my son here every single time now. Amazing service and a big thanks to all involved.

My doctor at the surgery has been very kind, understanding and helpful with my illness which not much is understood. I appreciate his support. It’s not easy dealing with patients today but he is very calm.

Review titled Great Service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Maria Clancy - Posted on 19 March 2024
I visited the practice whilst on holiday. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and it surprised me when I originally phoned and my call was answered after 3 rings and a friendly receptionist invited me to visit the walk in clinic straight away. (I had a chest infection) On arrival, the waiting time was 90 minutes but I was seen within 30 minutes. The staff were extremely efficient and did several tests to put my mind at ease. Overall, an extremely positive experience and a great team of staff.

Review titled Excellent nursing.
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Stephen Lund - Posted on 05 April 2024
A member of your nursing team, a young lady, has been treating me for a leg ulcer for the past few months and I feel compelled to write to commend her to you. Her service has been above and beyond what a patient could reasonably expect, particularly as she prepared me to take a foreign holiday whilst still requiring treatment. She has shown professionalism and compassion, and always with a smile. It has been a pleasure to have been treated by her. She has now signed me off and thanks to her efforts all I need now is a small plaster to cover the remaining wound on my leg. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks on to her and her team, and wish her well for the future. Yours sincerely, Steve Lund.

For what can be a nervous time for some, my experience was made all the better from the team who I met. They made everything so normalised and were absolutely lovely, I can't thank them enough.

Review titled Great consultation
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sara Skeet - Posted on 13 February 2024
I felt compelled to write a review I had an appointment today because I was suffering back pain and was diagnosed with sciatica. The doctor spent not only listening and examining but really took the time to look at the medication I am already on. And listened to my concerns on what medication he was suggesting and came up with effective alternatives. He is the first doctor who also took the time to explain why I can't take ibuprofen with my blood pressure medication. He had a great consulting manner. I was very impressed. Its a shame on this occasion we cannot mention names as he is an asset to the medical centre.

Review titled Fantastic service!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Paul Johnson - Posted on 28 February 2024
Met the team at Estuary View four times over the last 6 weeks to attend to de-waxing my ears. I am usually quite nervous about any medical procedure, however the process was explained to me and I was readily put at my ease offering much reassurance. The procedure was initially unsuccessful, however I was provided with suitable guidance in a non-judgmental and empathetic way. I can now hear properly! I should say that all of the team are very friendly and welcoming and the premises are very clean and professional looking. Thank you so much for helping me :-)
