    Called GP for an appointment for my daughter. Phoned 9.30. Granted as expected phone lines extremely busy and it took a good few attempts to get through. Took about half hour for call to be answered which is same as most if not all other practices at present. Offered appointment later that day. Daughter was seen and treatment given along with clear follow up advice. Never had an issue at the surgery other than busy phone lines which considering the number of patients calling in is to be expected.

    Doesn't reply to emails, months go by without answers to urgent questions and most unprofessional. Should be closed.

    I have been sent 3 letters over the last 6 mths asking me to make an appt to review my meds. Seriously!!! How can I make an appt if I can't get through? I have been calling since the first letter, and now I am in a lot of pain with my knee and still can't get through - absolutely ridiculous. When I worked as a receptionist for a very busy NHS Dental surgery, we had a voice message system, and every single pt was called back - maybe you should think about this Whyburn instead of leaving a lot of very stressed patients continually trying to call you, and being told to call back later or wait in a queue for nearly an hour.

    It feels like this is a practise waiting to die. On hold for over an hour to try and make an appointment, no appointments available, impossible to make an online booking and only locum doctors. Having been a patient here for over 40 years, it's time to move to a practise that can actually offer the services required.
