Review titled Extremely poor
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Sophie - Posted on 18 March 2024
Called today at 7:59 ready for the lines to open at 8 got through at 8:29 to a rude, unemphatic, unhelpful receptionist to be told there were no appointments until next Monday, that is 7 days away. The receptionist offered no other suggestion until I probed on what I could do to be seen she eventually & reluctantly said you can call tomorrow at 8am. She didn't ask who the appointment was for or what it was for. No interest at all. I have read online that this surgery only has 2 part time gps so there's no wonder they can't cater for their 1000s of patients, which they get a bonus for ever new one. Do not register here, you will not see a doctor nor will they try and help you see a doctor or care at all. They just want you of the phone. When I have had appointments after calling continuously the surgery is like a ghost town, only you sat there.

Review titled Only 8am for appointments??
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I find it unusual that it has to be 8am to be able to book appointments. The point of calling the surgery via phone is to be able to book an appointment any time. I had attempted to see if i could get them to book an appointment regardless (it was 10am when i called) but they had refused. So if I'm having trouble with a symptom and I don't get an appointment in time, what then? Unbelievable. Whatever practices the Gov adminstered to the GPs needs to be changed.

Review titled Poor Practice
Rated 1 star out of 5

Called to get a appointment with a GP. Had to call 60 times to get into a queue. Got into the Queue and was in 10th place to be told that all appointments was gone and would need to call back at 8am the next day. Asked if I could book a future appointment to be told this can only be done on a Monday and will likely get one for the following week. Today is Thursday. These appointments that have also all gone are telephone appointments, how is a GP suppose to diagnose you correctly when they cannot see you in person? Had I previously been seen in person I last time I would more then likely not need the appointment today.

Review titled Awful service and attitude of reception
Rated 1 star out of 5

My doctor told me to make a face-to-face appointment. Every time I call I'm told there are no appointments. As I have a pay as you go phone it has cost me a fortune in 'holding' times. I had to visit the surgery to see the nurse for a blood test and other things and asked at reception about an appointment. They told me to call the following morning which I did only to be told there were no appointments and to call again the following week. Do I have to wait until I am dead to get to see the doctor? Totally useless system.
