I was messaged on 6th February 2025 regarding my Blood Pressure readings. The message asked me to book a telephone appointment with the Pharmacist. However, the link supplied did not work. I tried telephoning Reception but there was no answer despite ringing for a considerable time. I am reluctant to complain. However, at my age (90) I am finding it very difficult to negotiate the new systems recently introduced at WMC.

I felt quite silly ringing and asking for an appointment for the problem I had been having but from the receptionist, to the GP, even dispensary, I can't fault anything. I rang at around 8:10, I was offered an appointment at 9am! When seeing the GP and feeling quite emotional about the problem, she was very empathetic and didn't make me feel like I was wasting her time like some have in the past. I actually felt anxious leading up to the appointment in case they did feel I was a time waster. We came up with a plan together and whilst I still didn't feel well leaving the appointment, that GP in particular made me feel a lot better (apologies, I can't remember her name). Dispensary were also very welcoming and helpful. Some people are very quick to criticize the surgery but I must say that overall, it was fantastic service! Thank you.
