    Absolutely awful experience. We were running late for an appointment due to being stuck behind a hedge trimming tractor. I called to tell them and spoke to a lovely woman. When we got to the surgery we had to queue up for about 5 minutes, it took the atrociously rude receptionist a few minutes just to even find the appointment, then she said the GP won't see us because we were 20 minutes late. We were only 19 minutes late at that point, 5 of which were in their queue. God I've never met such a rude receptionist at a GP. I will be switching the whole family over to somewhere else.

    Superb treatment from start to finish….one needs to have patience with the initial telephone wait…very quick assessment by Receptionist and then medic. Appointment for same day given immediately on final triage, consultation most satisfactory, thorough and professional …thank you and I am now hopefully on the road to recovery. It can be frustrating especially as you are probably feeling poorly being in that initial telephone queue, please try to relax so that a calm accurate conversation can be had with your first Receptionist contact……everything else should flow from that ok. Second time I have had this satisfactory experience.

    I was extremely worried about my son. I spoke to the duty doctor who was really patient with me, he took time to listen to me and explained everything in a clear, reassuring way. The telephone call did not feel rushed, even though I expect he had a lot more people to call.

    I needed to have a cortisone injection on a trigger finger on the 6th March. My experience was first class. The reception staff were warm and friendly on arrival, the appointment was on time and the doctor was engaging, professional, reassuring and helpful. I couldn’t wish for more, so a big ‘thank you’ to everyone at the practice.

  5. Review titled Pharmacy issue

    When trying to make an appointment at this surgery you are asked to speak to a pharmacist first. When attempting to do this I went to the medical centre pharmacy and asked for some advice on what I could buy for a persistent sore throat. The response from the pharmacist was that she didn’t want to see me as she didn’t want to do appointments that day. I am unsure how to get medical advice when the doctor requires you to speak to a pharmacist but the pharmacist refuses to speak to you as well. We are being encouraged to visit pharmacy’s more to ease pressure on GPs but they do need to be on board with this. The central NHS messaging has just not reached this surgery unfortunately.

    Entirely rude, chaotic and unprofessional. Made it impossible to get an appointment and now bombarding with nonsense spam. The worst of the worst. Avoid and go elsewhere. Completely regret registering here and now trying to deregister (no response so far)

    Feel that we all don’t fit in one box , very impersonal service , found very unhelpful with my area of concern , I don’t contact docters unless necessary , severe back pain , had left it until the pain was too intense to then do online consultation to have to chase for response to then get told a duty docter would call who then didn’t call and sent a text message with exercises and referral form .. how did the surgery know if the exercises they sent would work , they didn’t even know where the pain was .. very frustrating and second experience with them I’ve not found acceptable

    I’ve now officially given up with this surgery. It’s been just over two weeks now with me trying to book an appointment to see a doctor. You can’t get through on the phone and the E-consult is always switched off. So I’m now going to see if I can register elsewhere.

    As instructed I called the Practice at 8.30am, I was 19th in the queue but my call was answered in ten minutes. I explained my problem, they sent me a text for more information, I was called by a doctor half an hour later and seen by the same doctor within two hours. He was very helpful, kind and informative and I have been referred on to a specialist to be seen within two weeks. I have always had wonderful care at this surgery, it’s been exceptional every time!
