    I just wanted to share how wonderful polish lady was during my smear test. She is a real asset to the surgery. She put me at ease. Many thanks to her.

    I would like to thank the Patients Services Team who take the call and man the Reception Desk. They are so helpful and always make sure they have done their best to deal with your case. In the last couple of weeks, I have had to be seen at short notice several time and I did. Also I had to cancel and rebook various appointments several times and was accommodated each time. The doctors are very good too. So altogether a great surgery.

    Attended for a second time in respect of cervical screening, first attempt unsuccessful ( not the nurses fault)- Agar was patient and understanding the first time and was even more so on the second occasion. Second attempt successful, many thanks Agar.

    Audiology visit suspect ear infection - see my GP. Phone Q for Reception told me to see Pharmacy via Community Referral. After ring ring over a week, they say cannot give me antibiotic over 16. Phone doctors - queue for 45 mins, now fully booked. Call 111 to try to get appointment! This is just ridiculous- third world would be ashamed. A one minute look will confirm or otherwise.

    Dear Mr H, I am sorry to hear that you have experienced difficulty obtaining an appointment at the Practice. General Practice is currently facing an unprecedented level of demand. To aid with the current demand the Community Referral scheme was introduced. This allows a pharmacy to assess you and prescribe appropriate medication for specific symptoms. I am sorry that when you attended the service, they were unable to do this for you, I appreciate that this will have been frustrating for you. Unfortunately, the increased pressure on the service means that appointments are in high demand. To ensure clinical safety for our patients, once this demand has been reached it would be unsafe to add more patients to the list.     The nurse I saw for a routine screening test this week was outstanding. She put me at ease, provided just the right amount of information and was courteous throughout. Staff like this really make patients feel cared for and respected. Well done to the lovely lady in consultation room 11.

    Been waiting queue on the line for 31 minutes for my daughter this morning;then suddenly said unfortunately we are fully booked. And the lady answered said we have 32. thousand patients; hello; 32 patients are not ill today right?? speechless with this medical center. Every time call this medical service; only 1 in 10 my appointment get done.This medical center is the worst I have ever been. Shame!

    Dear Lenny, I am sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with your recent experience at the Practice. Healthcare nationally is seeing a dramatic increase in demand especially within General Practice. This means phone lines are busier than normal and wait times on the phone are incredibly high and we are seeing or consulting with more patients than ever. We are recruiting for additional Patient Service Assistants to help manage this demand. However, to ensure clinical safety to our patients we can only offer a set number of appointments per day. Once this capacity has been reached, you may be signposted to alternative health provision, such as the walk-in centre, to ensure a same day assessment. We understand that increased demand is frustrating for our patients, and we want to assure you that we are working hard to help manage the increased demand on the service.     Your Review: Attended a 08:30 appointment this morning 27/12/23 ( day after Boxing Day ) and was met by a smiling and very polite lady GP. We discussed my Cholesterol & Hypertension concerns and queries. The Doctor took her time to explain my present situation and suggested a plan for going forward on how best to address both the above concerns and how we should monitor in the future. I came away feeling very assured by the consultation and advice I had received from a Doctor who I felt was a credit to her profession and medical centre.

    Appaulling service from Wokingham Medical Centre. Have been trying for days to contact them but nobody is answering the phones. Have waited in a queue of callers for over an hour and still nobody answers! How are patients supposed to get any kind of treatment or even a response from this dreadful medical centre !!! Their response is that they are sorry and they are working hard to provide a better service, but lastly they don’t have enough staff to support the number of patients as the issue with not answering phones has been going on for months without any improvement. Their CQC rating of ‘Good’ is an absolute joke.

    My husband was admitted to RBH for a heart condition early July 2023. His consultant wrote to our GP at Wokingham Medical Centre advising a medication had to be doubled. As of today - 3rd August - letter has not been read and no action taken. Why ?
