I have muscle strain in the right should. I tried to use Voltarol for the past 7 days, but it does not work. The doctor patiently examine my shoulder and refer me to physiotherapist for further treatment

I arrived at WMC at 2.05pm for a Bloods Test at 2.15pm on Tuesday 28th March. There was a sizeable queue of patients with various appointments and needs. The lady on Reception was alone but was so effective at guiding patients to the automated Checkin screens, as appropriate, while dealing with those who needed to fill forms in at the desk, while talking to an 80+ old man to understand his needs for a doctor, so effectively and with such empathy that he was dealt with so quickly. She knew exactly how to deal with every type of waiting patient, so well, that the queue quickly dissipated. On the way out, after my Bloods, there were no more patients waiting! A brilliant receptionist who spoke to each patient with such care and attention, making us all feel important. Oh and my bloods appointment was also brilliant, as usual. Thanks WMC!

Having read all the negative press and heard how difficult it was to get an appointment, I was extremely impressed and happy with the service I received. I phoned early and the person who answered the call was very friendly and helpful and I got a face to face appointment that morning. The doctor I saw was (I haven’t been for a few years) was lovely and extremely helpful. Thank you.

We were called after contacting 111 for my son and we received a call at 7.50 the following morning asking for us to come in for 8.50 We were seen quickly and felt listened too / lovely doctor who was on duty Very thankful as my son had a burst ear drum So thank you so much for your amazing service and level of care

I have only been registered with the surgery for a few weeks & I have already had such a good experience from the Receptionists being very polite, helplful & friendly to completing an eConsult first thing in the morning to having the GP contact me for him to see him that afternoon at the Surgery

I rang to make an appointment only to be told that you can only make an appointment on the day at 08:00 - and the time unknown. This is an impossibility if you work and are typically travelling at 08:00. Call later and all appointments are gone. I have a chronic abdominal pain.... not serious enough to trouble A&E over and not serious enough to stop me going to work but I would still like to be examined by a doctor as I am concerned. Please can you let me know what other options I have....

I am so happy with my experience with Wokingham Medical Centre today. I called at 8am, I was through to a receptionist by 8:20am and given an appointment for 8:50am for my son. Dr was very thorough and chatty although could see was so busy. Antibiotics given and picked up within 15 minutes. This surgery really do all they can, when they can and I'm so grateful for them!

Very poor customer service from reception/triage team. Not only you have to wait for ages in the queue over the phone (even though dialing in on opening at 8am), you eventually end up talking to someone who has no customer service skills and rather than listen to you, simply ask you to go on the web to make an appointment. What a waste of time, especially the website registration does not work, and an e-consultation is useless in the case in question with my 3.5 year old child, as explained to the person over the phone. All this makes it almost impossible to make an appointment even for a 3.5 year old child. This is extremely frustrating for someone like me who pays his tax and hardly ever calls or goes to the GP, but is not able to access the GP when required. This is the 3rd time in 4 years with this medical practice I wonder if the solution is not for people to have the option to opt out of the NHS, and use our related tax money for private medical support instead, to ensure we get treated whenever we need it. I would definitely not recommend the Wokingham Medical centre for its poor customer service and the high difficulty with making a patient appointment
