Review titled Wonderful GP
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Leanne - Posted on 09 August 2024
Took my LO in with a fever that was on going and didn't react to calpol/nurofen or antibiotics prescribed by hospital. The GP had childrens you tube on which instantly relaxed my LO, thoroughly checked LO and listened to everything I said. Found source of fever and prescription given.

Review titled Great practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Sibel - Posted on 08 August 2024
I have been with Woodbridge Hill surgery for a long time. I always get appointments straight away and the care is wonderful. This morning I was seen by a GP, she went through all my health issues, medication, new health concerns, she was so professional, so caring and offered a complete care considering all my health problems, history, made me feel so comfortable that I felt I am looked after and cared for by a doctor who is knowledgeable and doing her job to the best of her ability. I am grateful.

Review titled Quick Appointment
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Brian Briggs - Posted on 30 July 2024
I was booked in for 3 appointments consecutively for ECG, blood test and blood pressure. I was seen before my first timed appointment and was finished well before schedule. Everything was explained to me and I felt totally at ease

Receptionist kind and helpful over phone and in person as always, and dealt with request promptly. Very pleased with surgery. Thank you all.

Review titled Rude Receptionist
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 12 June 2024
The Doctors and Nurses are very kind. However, the Receptionist and the person answering calls are very rude and dismissive. The tone of their voice was also rude. I talked to them nicely, they surely can talk in a kind manner as well. But they answered me very rudely. I am very disappointed by them. I also feel bad for other patients who come in the GP if they get treated by the Receptionist and the person answering calls rudely.

Review titled Online appointment system
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 14 May 2024
Absolutely ridiculous that I cannot request an appointment online after 4pm! I work in a school and leave at 7am daily and get home just after 4:30. We rarely take lunch breaks which means making an appointment a nightmare as I can't even call the doctor surgery. What a complete shambles of a system!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We aim to leave the online forms open as long as possible. We open them at 07.00 to try and catch people before they leave for work but need to close these forms at 16.00 in order to complete the workload before the clinicians leave at the end of the day. We understand how difficult it is for those working within these hours, particularly teachers. The phones remain open until 18.30 after the forms have closed. If you call the practice at that time and speak to the reception team explaining your work pattern, we will do our best to help. We try to accommodate different work patterns but as you will appreciate, this is not always possible. Our Practice Team have been made aware of the professions this affects, and are ready to support.

Review titled Very disappointed and frustrated
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 26 March 2024
A 4 week wait for an appointment which was regarding a lump. 5 minutes late as could not park on any of the roads near the surgery and told doctor was seeing the next person had moved on with the clinic and that I would have to rebook. If doctor was seeing next patient earlier, surely I could have then gone in for their appointment as was only 5 minutes. Beware of the parking especially early morning.

I'm really sorry you have had a bad experience when visiting our practice. We are aware that the parking is very difficult and we are doing everything we can to keep the parking clear for patients but we are in quite a restricted space. We would also like to investigate why you waited 4 weeks for an appointment regarding a lump. We introduced our Triage system which increases access to our clinicians, so I find this concerning and would like to look into it further. Would you please contact the Practice Manager via reception.woodbridge@nhs.net so it can be investigated fully.

Review titled Pharmacist rude abrupt and impatient
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 05 February 2024
Felt like a nobody after a random phone call from the in-house pharmacist. She was reviewing my medication as a new patient. I have adhd and came off the phone feeling that she was borderline abusive. I always try to be polite and tolerant even when there's delays or errors made. It goes both ways you know. I have returned to my old Practice.

Review titled Impolite Email
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Stephanie - Posted on 30 October 2023
In response to my email regarding an update on my online registration for myself and two children, I received an impolite reply via email on 6th Oct 2023 at 15:27 that made me feel unwelcome. I was told not to contact 'reception' and only visit the website instead.
