I was advised by the doctor to book a double appointment so went to reception and this is what was said oh your looking at at least 5 weeks that's appalling but what really gets me is call back at 8am in the morning to book an appointment why do you not let people book these appointments when they clearly are some make no sense why

Very clear consultation with Dr . On time and dealt with my problems. She has promised a further consultation in 6 to 8 weeks time, i assume this will be delivered in the practices usual professional manner.

Seen on a few occasions, I attended yesterday for my staples removed after having gastric surgery two weeks ago, she is always friendly. I was very nervous at having this procedures but she explained everything in detail and was gentle and reassuring.

Visited nurse who spent time going through all the information in detail, answered my questions. Came away feeling calm, listened to and fully informed.

I went for a double appointment yesterday and I saw a lovely nurse who's one of the nurse practitioners. The nurse apologised for running abit late, but that didn't bother me as I still was able to have the allocated double appt as I had a few things to discuss. One of the nurse practitioners checked me out very thoroughly and was very understanding and empathic. I've been with this practice for approx 5 years and I can honestly say that it's much improved especially over the last 2 years. All the gps, nurses, receptionists are helpful, understanding and listen. Most of the time, (if you ring up early enough) you can get an appointment. Woodland Drive Surgery is a modern, fresh, roomy and well organised practice and to be honest, it isn't very often the GP, or nurses are running behind time and nobody is perfect, sometimes these things can't be helped. What I also like about this GPs is that it is local and it has a handy pharmacy next door to the practice. The staff and pharmacist are all lovely too. 😍

Smear test completed with ultimate respect, discreet and professional. The nurse here should do everyone’s smear test in the whole country, people would not be scared or embarrassed as she is just brilliant from entering her surgery room until leaving the building. No embarrassment felt, no fear felt, just a kind, caring and put at ease throughout. Thank you for your kindness and support. Just outstanding work.

The member of surgery staff that I saw was very kind and compassionate. She always makes an effort to make me feel involved in my care and works collaboratively with me to come up with a plan for my care going forward. I feel much better having spoken to her, and less anxious about visiting the surgery going forward.

The PA that I saw was fantastic, she helped treat the muscle injury that I had and was extremely thorough in checking the painful shoulder area. The staff member then went on to check my ankle pain and diagnosed this also. She was brilliant in checking this with another staff member and I felt very confident that the issue would be addressed. Thank you

This was my first visit as just transferred to this surgery and I was very impressed. The friendliness of the male receptionist was lovely made to feel at ease and the doctor was also lovely. We used to be with Huddersfield Road and they are shocking in comparison so glad we moved .
