Following surgery the Doctor requested to see me. He was very aware of my recent surgery procedure. He proceeded to discuss my current medication and decided to leave as is for the time being. A worthwhile visit and came away very pleased with the outcome.

usually good on keeping appointment times not waiting around to be seen very good at explaining the situation regarding your health and what steps need to be taken very rarely i visit the surgery as i am normally well but my last visit was very appreciated

After seeing the doctor I needed an urgent blood test. This was done within 39 minutes after seeing the doctor. Referrals that the doctor had arranged with hospital also happened the following day

Great staff Receptionist had a friendly greeting as I entered building Nurse took her time with my asthma review I felt the nurse listened to me and gave me time to think about my answers

I found woodland drive medical practice to always be very helpful - they try to accommodate me by finding appointments to match my busy schedule - and often I get an appointment the same day that I call up. Recently I needed to be treated at Barnsley hospital - and the Doctor found time in between patients to call the hospital and get me attended to immediately without having to wait.

I had reason to call for appointments a few times in the last week or so. Whilst I appreciate the Surgery's need to protect itself with "small print", it takes ages to wait through the almost-memorised messages to get to the reason for calling. It would be nice if there was a suitably-worded shortcut to bypass the messages. On the phone system generally, I was pleasantly surprised that the "call at eight tomorrow" requirement for appointments worked quite well, with only a 2-3 minute wait.

Another positive experience at this doctors surgery. The lady on reception was polite and helpful and the Dr who saw my son was very kind and listened well.
