Saw GP , explained my situation , been given previously medication for my extreme anxiety. Then told he'd been put in a situation . If I'd a been flying , said medication would have been given . But because it was a car journey . I was told no . So basically not had the prescription given . When I've had it previously. I cannot help how my mind works . I just know the tablets work . So dissatisfied with the outcome .

Had an appointment to get a persistent cough checked out, as always reception was welcoming and nice, this surgery has a great back office staff, always helpful and supportive After a very short wait I had my appointment and was given a very thorough examination of my chest, lungs checked, pulse, blood oxygen, temperature and was given the all clear But as always, made to feel welcome and the whole team at the surgery are a credit to GP practices in the UK

My appointment was 15 minutes behind the arranged time. Other people in the practice were all having this problem. Once I got to see the lead GP I found him; extremely distant and uninterested in what I had to say. He very rarely made eye contact with me, further emphasising his disinterest. I was in and out of the appointment within 3 minutes. Every time I attempted to expand on my issues he’d simply divert and tell me book to see him in 4 weeks. Which you can’t even do because they don’t do appointments 4 weeks in advance. My next point of call would be A+E, but this disincentivises a proactive approach to one’s health when all you get told is ‘if it gets any worse, go to A+E.

We have never had any issues here at all. The doctor I saw on Friday was a new guy but he knew what he was doing.

Very efficient practitioner with a discussion about the menopause. However my bp reading was very high. So she bobbed through to have a word with a doctor who recommended I have blood pressure tablets immediately. The prescription didn't come through as promised. I rang up to ask where it was. 'It's with a doctor, I can't hurry it - sorry' I was told. I rang this morning. Still nothing. Rang at lunchtime to find out they haven't a clue where it is and they'll have to get back to me. I wasn't even stressed before I knew I had bad bp, So no, what started off as a chilled consultation has quickly sunk. And meanwhile I still haven't got these 'urgent tablets' and have to sit and wait until someone bothers to ring back - if they can remember to!
