Review titled Fantastic
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Ruth - Posted on 12 February 2025
This has been my go for some time and I can only say they are brilliant. I’m a tricky customer in terms of needing reassurance which they give. However, I turned up today suffering an unexpected allergic reaction. They got me in asap, gave me an injection and asked me to wait so they could monitor me. It would have been so easy for them to send me off to A&E especially when I turned up unannounced. They sorted me out pronto and I’m very grateful. Thank you very much to the reception staff who whipped me in, gave me water and acted with compassion and to my doctor who treated me, she is lovely! Thank you so much. It means a lot to me :) soooo appreciated. Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed. Well done woodlands road surgery!

Review titled Brilliant practice
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Janet Evans - Posted on 30 August 2023
This is an amazing practice. The Doctors, nurses and reception staff all work so hard to support and investigate any medical issues. They are all very welcoming and kind. Having recently had issues requiring ongoing support and blood tests following discharge from hospital, I cannot fault the care that I have received. The fact that they have also returned to offering open surgery is amazing when you hear other people complaining that they cannot see a Dr. The fact that you can walk in and just wait to see a Dr is truly outstanding which is the result that they deserve when they are next reviewed by the CQC. I have been with this practice for over 40 years and have never doubted the dedication of each and every Dr, nurse or receptionist that I have come into contact with.

Dear Ms Evans Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. The team is working incredibly hard to try and make access as easy as possible for our patients. Our patients are always our first priority and whilst we know we don't always get it right we do try our hardest. I will be sure to share your feedback with the team as it is important that they know their efforts are appreciated, especially as we face the oncoming challenges of autumn and winter. Thank you again. Kind regards Rachael Mellor Managing Partner

Review titled Worse Doctors Ever
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Mr A Miles - Posted on 04 July 2023
This has got to be the worse Doctors practice ever for patients who have diabetes. The standard of care is seriously lacking nothing is followed up, communication is poor and when you complain you're fobbed off Would recommend avoiding this practice

Dear Mr Miles I want to acknowledge your review but as your complaints have already been dealt with at length in emails I will not be entering into it again here. We have already provided you with the appropriate escalation procedures. For clarity, as has been explained previously, all of our Diabetic patients are offered a review at least annually, more regularly if there is a clinical need (all arranged in line with staff availability). We have already issued you with an apology in writing for the breakdown in communication and I repeat that here. Kind regards Rachael Mellor Managing Partner
