    Staff tell half truths and then backtrack before terminated calls when asked duiffciult questions. You cannot get hold of surgery unless you wait on phone for at least 30 minutes and then are told that your eConsult form has been triaged by a Doctor and that the first available appointment was 14 days later (just 8 days before I am due to have a pre-op assessment for the same condition that has gotten worse). That was a lie because when I consulted NHS111 and was told they have a duty of care and that a request report would be issued to the GP surgery for a call back within 2 hours and to follow up that - I was told that there was no way the suregy could deal with me before then, that the NHS111 response was standard and unrealistic, that there was no evidence a Doctor had triaged my eConsult and then the call was terminated - lunch break was looming. Shocking service and a complete and disgraceful abrogation of any responsibilty or duty of patient care.

    Dear SJM, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry for the poor experience that you have received from the practice. I will look into this and your email that you sent to the practice and I will feedback to you once I have looked into all your concerns. The practice takes all comments positive or negative seriously and they are discussed with the whole team. I would be more than happy to meet with you at anytime .     I had my smear and bloods taken, being a nervous patient, I was put at my ease, the nurses at the surgery are all good and their manner is so caring. I just wanted to report how happy I was with the care given, people are quick to complain so I feel when things are good, this needs to be acknowledged. It has been harder to get a appointment of late, but they have coped well with a global pandemic, and have done the upmost to keep us save.. keep up the good work..

    Dear Carole, Thank you so much for your comments. Please accept my apologies for not responding online before. Once your comment came in it was shared with all the nurses on that day. We are still trying to offer the best service, but it is hard at times. So, when we get a positive comment it keeps us going. Jo Nightingale 1/11/22
