Last year when we register with this practice, it was very easy to speak to staff and calm them to get through. This year I’ve needed to call them a few times but can never get through on the going th line is always busy. I’ve tried 50-100 times, and the advice is to keep trying. For how long? The first time I ended up at the surgery and they said that this is the way things are now, what is the point if you cannot get through to speak to anyone or book an appointment even at 8am as they advise? I’ve tried all different times of the day, it’s just ridiculous. Spend hours trying to get through and nothing. It’s surly not a good way to work for staff or patients.

Hello, thank you for your feedback, and we apologise for the late response. We are sorry you have had difficulties with trying to get through to the practice on the phone. We have recently implemented a new telephone system that we hope has rectified some of these issues. We understand that patients cannot wait on the phone all day which why we have online consultations available, which is a simpler way of contacting the surgery when the phones are busy. Today I had a nightmare with an online pharmacy and repeat prescription and they sorted it all out for me. They also dealt with the online pharmacy removing my details from them. Thank you, amazing practice.
