    Went to see practice nurse today as usual she was very welcoming and had plenty of time for my numerous questions. Excellent clinical skills too with the procedure she had to perform. Came out feeling a lot better informed . Also the pharmacist goes the extra mile to sort medication out and refer to services always has time for me to sort out problems and get back to me asap. With the NHS constantly being criticised staff like this need to be recognised for going the extra mile. Thankyou.

    Several questions from the receptionist who I totally understand is doing their job, however I felt I was spoken to in a manner that did not show any signs of compassionate care. I was in a lot of pain, not sleeping, having had previous back surgery. I was informed on the third conversation that I could not see a GP. I was told I could ring again at 08:00 tomorrow. I explained I had been ringing since 08:00 this morning. I also asked on initial phone call about the GP also checking lesions also on my back. The receptionist on the second call said I could email a photo? Clearly, no size could be obtained. The whole system is in need of an overhaul, if this is how vulnerable people are made to feel, then I am sorry but the Patient Feedback is shocking, Woodside Medical Centre have already let my daughter and niece down massively but as I have been a patient for more than sixty years I have stayed with them. I am appalled at their uncaring attempts to reduce the face to face appointment system.
