    I have been a patient for about 18 months since moving to the area, but have now decided to switch to another GP. I have never had an in-person meeting with a doctor but have spoken to GPs over the phone, which hasn't been an issue. I've been advised each time that I would hear results, have further calls on tests, etc., within a certain timeframe, and that has never been met. I have always waited a couple more days, for benefit of the doubt, but in every single instance have found myself having to go in to the practice to explain and chase up. The last time I went there, after having had blood tests two months beforehand and having heard nothing from the GP about the results (which I had read on the app, but some notes said that the results needed to be communicated to the patient, so I had been waiting to hear from them), the receptionist that day was incredibly dismissive of my queries, telling me quite abruptly that terms I said I had read were not in my notes because she couldn't see the same on her system. I have grown tired of the lacklustre service and always having to be the one chasing for results, so I have decided to change GPs.

    Been trying to get an appointment online for a couple of weeks now unsuccessful and tired to ring up as well 3 or 4 times.Never any available spaces even though I ring up really early and they say they have been queuing up outside when there wasn’t any people lined up.Receptionists aren’t very helpful.

    You call the practice it tells you they are busy and disconnects the call. I am trying to get my prescription it hasn’t arrived at the pharmacy and I have no way of getting through. The same happened when I had an emergency after a car accident they wouldn’t answer tried for days then got told I would have to wait 6 weeks to see a GP. When I was finally seen they told me to self refer to a physio!!! Absolutely appalling no wonder a & e are chocca- they didn’t tell me about 111 or other out of hours options they just left me. I even complained to the practice manager who was too busy telling me I was wrong to actually give me the advice I needed (which was I could go to a walk in centre or self refer to the physio). Left in pain for weeks and weeks now can’t get a basic prescription. I will have to take time away from work and turn up at the surgery as this is the only way to speak to someone.

    I was initially in a queue of 7 and had a little wait bit once I got through to the practice they were very helpful. I had an issue with my medication, the receptionist was friendly, helpful and dealt with my problem efficiently. She called back when she said she would and sorted my problem out in the one day. Excellent service, thank you.

    In my 60+ years of being a patient at Woodville surgery I have always experienced a positive patient experience. During the pandemic up to present day I have on all but one occasion managed to see a nurse, doctor or speak to the pharmacist regarding my health. I also find the administration team extremely helpful, polite and efficient when dealing with my enquiries, wether talking to them on the telephone or communicating with them by email. Please keep up the good standards and thank you for your had work.

    Trying to book a ring back from a Doctor is ridiculous. Told to ring about medication review, next available slot is 3 weeks away. I only have 1 weeks supply left. Try ringing 1st thing in the morning, on hold for 30 minutes only to be told no more slots available, try again tomorrow.
