I cannot say enough good things about this practice - I recently had an emergency and got a same day appointment with no problem (I always do when it’s urgent or when it’s for for my 1yr old). I was feeling really unwell and the reception team were really caring and kind and the doctor delivered excellent care. This is what all GP practices should be like!

I never had any issue with this centre been with them for years. Up until I had a telephone appointment with a gp with such an attitude and rude instead of giving me answers she was so quick to be judgy and defensive. This is not a court room unfortunately no one wins when it comes to health. I have now recently registered elsewhere, good fresh air I'd say. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.

Dear Tina I am sorry that you say you had a bad experience when interacting with one of our GPs. This is not the type of behaviour that we would expect our doctors to exhibit. If you were staying with us as a patient I would have recommended that you make an appointment to see the Practice Manager to discuss your concerns and to allow us to investigate the interaction and learn from any deficiencies that may have occurred from the consultation. However, as you have already registered with another GP I can only wish you the best for the future. Regards Woolstone Medical Centre

I just wanted to commend you for being a great practice to visit. On top of the expert professionalism, there has also been time to listen with empathy - and I know how hard it is to find time for that these days in practice. When I sit and wait to be seen, around me I can hear professional and friendly interactions and a good atmosphere. I like that you've won awards for being inclusive in different ways and I am so pleased you've signed up to be a safe surgery. Thank you

Such a fantastic doctors surgery! It has the traditional feel of a family doctors, I can always get an appointment with my favourite doctor who knows me well and tailors care to my past experiences. The reception staff are incredibly busy but are always polite and go out of their way to help. A little gem of a surgery.
