Review titled Worst surgery
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Shafaq - Posted on 19 February 2025
This is one of the worst surgeries ever , you can never get a appointment through the phone lines. U called 8.29 am and was 6 in the queue and by 8.36 they closed the lines saying all appointments is booked. How is it possible for them to have so little emergency appointments with so many doctors. Last time I went to the surgery in person after frustrating morning trying to get an appointment and yelled at reception so gave me appointment. And doctors are just worst , my husband has gout and had really high bp and the doctor didn’t bother to give any medication or even check his BP , he had to go to private clinic to get proper diagnosis and medication. This surgery should be fire these useless doctors and hire proper doctors. Do not register here don’t waste our tax money to pay for this mismanaged and terrible surgery

Review titled Poor service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Giles Ellerton - Posted on 18 February 2025
I wrote a letter to the practice concerning a patient, and over three weeks later I have heard nothing back from them. When calling the practice after waiting over 30 mins I was cut off. I called back again and was told that I was not able to speak to the admin team. Not responsive or professional.

Review titled In house physio
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 05 November 2024
Very happy with the fact this GP has a physiotherapist. This makes physio so much more accessible to me. Including access to an app for exercises. Generally I’ve had good experiences with the doctors here. And once I figured out the online appointment request process I’ve found it fairly easy to make an appointment, though the form feels overly lengthy.

Review titled Terrible Practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Madeleine Rourke - Posted on 19 November 2024
Unable to make an appointment for my father, who is a cancer sufferer, for days at a time. Phone call will cut off and then position in queue is 20+. His symptoms have progressed and his infection has now moved to his chest. 111 unable to contact surgery either. Only option is to visit A&E, which will make him more unwell and further worsen his condition.

Review titled They should be shut down
Rated 1 star out of 5

For a number of years I have heard my parents complain about a once great surgery. I am not witnessing first hand what they have to deal with. I am trying to book the removal of stitches for one of my parents, this needs to be completed within a timeframe of 14 days. I have so far spent 4 days trying to get through to the surgery. I have spend hours hanging on the phone only to be cut off. My parents paid into the NHS their entire lives to be subjected to this utter shambles of a surgery. The quality care commission needs to do it’s job and sort this place out.

Review titled Helpful receptionist
Rated 5 stars out of 5

While on my visit to the surgery I was at reception and needed some help, the kind young lady at reception went out of her way to make extra calls and help me. She has a great attitude and was very sweet. I really appreciated the help. Unfortunately I did not get her name but I know she had dark brown hair. I hope this reaches her, thank you

Review titled Avoid this horrible Surgery
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Ajai Joseph - Posted on 19 June 2024
Someone should do its due diligence and shut this surgery as it could cost lives. Very rude and unapologetic Reception staff work in this Surgery, they lack the most basic empathy needed for this kind of work. A month ago I have called up for an urgent blood test as my symptoms were worsening, spoke to a reception staff who showed complete lack of empathy or even any consideration to a fellow human being, she bluntly said we not do blood tests, check you phone for some kind of a link in the next 5 mins and book an appointment through that portal. Booked an appointment online and the next appointment was after 1 month. Today here I am in the hospital and they have told me that GP hasn’t sent over my details through and it’s can’t be done. Taken day off from work for this and arranged and paid for one days child care to do this. Hospital staff was very kind and asked to call this horrible GP to sent over the details so that they can get it done for me. After 30 minutes on the hold another rude and horrible reception staff who somehow thinks that this is all my fault and now I have to speak to another person from GP after one week before they can even think about a helping me out or resolve this issue. Now they have wasted tax payers money with dodgy hospital appointments and cost me a lot of money at work and child care. Worst part is actually the receptionist who somehow think this is all my fault and never said sorry for this. I’m guessing she might be the one who gave me the initial hospital appointment without doing the due diligence and wasted everyone’s time and money. Avoid this place like plague.

Dear Mr Joseph Thank you for your feedback. I can only apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you. The receptionist should have made sure your request was on the system before sending the link out to you to have your blood test carried out at the hospital. Unfortunately you cannot just request a blood test without speaking to a GP so that should have been the first request. I am also sorry your interaction with our reception team has not been positive. We are in the process of building a new Team so your feedback will be relayed back to them so they understand that they need to have empathy and understanding when dealing with our patients and full training is being given so the team ask the correct questions. Kind regards Vicki Avery Patient Services Manager
