    I have always found the medical care from both doctors and nurses at this practice to be universally excellent and the almost immediate response in dealing with online queries is hugely impressive. The appointment system is another matter. I think I have discovered both from an administrative enquiry I made and from the bromley by bow health centre’s website that the only way of making an appointment is by filling in an online consultation form. I have no problem with this but it seems to me that the following issues need to be addressed. The xx place health centre website says that appointments can be booked online. This is not so. Trying to do this simply produces the response that there are no appointments available to be booked online. There are significant numbers of people in the local community who are digitally excluded. If the only way of booking an appointment is by filling in an online consultation form, how do they get to see a doctor? The xx place health centre website has a list other ways of making an appointment but, given that the information about booking appointments online is completely wrong, is the information about other ways of booking an appointment also completely wrong? I doubt that it makes much difference to the vast majority of patients how the practice organises its appointment system but whatever this system is it should be clearly and accurately described on the websites of both xx place and bromley by bow health centres.

    I attended to request an examination of some raised moles which appeared to have changed. I had a thorough examination including photos and an in-depth explanation within 2 days. The moles appeared to be benign much to my relief. I was advised to check any further changes for advice.

    I used the online consultation link in the morning and the GP called me back within an hour to set up an appointment on the same day. The appointment was on time. At the appointment the Doctor is very thorough with the consultation and friendly. Given the number of medication I required he suggested for me to get a prescription pre pay to save some money. I also received a text overview of directions of use for medication and a link to the NHS pre pay system. Would recommend

    I contacted this surgery on April regarding an issue I had and so I needed to be referred to another surgery. It’s now been almost 2 months and after being in contact with the surgery finally after all this time, I’ve been told that my a actual GP has not forwarded any sort of information to their end?? I’ve given them my address my full name and yet they cannot seem to find my information? This is absurd that I’ve waited this long to finally find out that my information has never been passed on to begin with. It’s been months with no follow ups or call backs. I’m extremely disappointed in this whole situation as now I need to further wait even longer as no one has even known about what was going on.

    One of the midwives put the date on maternity hand book for the next appointment.As I have something abnormal on my previous blood.She requested for another blood test and told us to book the appointment on specific date from the receptionist.We went there four times in a month and every time front staff says that,we should come or call on the same week.On the fourth time of same week (the date midwife put on the maternity book) front staff says it’s bank holiday she can’t book,so next appointment is after four more weeks.I told her as my blood results wasn’t normal so I need asap.Then she gave me a number for call them to book and the number is wrong.I don’t know what should I do

    My sons been suffering from tonsil issues for over a year now, he is 4 years old, this started when he was 3. I get given different information each time, nothing gets done about and now a new rule a doctor doesn't need to see you a pharmacist would suffice. So why do we need to be registered to the GP and why do they need the funding. Maybe make more funding towards the pharmacies. He suffers from tonsil pain so often cannot eat, missing school and they do nothing about it. Extremely poor surgery. Complaints make no difference too, I've complained twice when it's related to my children, can't be bothered about myself.

    I called to make an appointment for my pco medical & was told someone would call me back, nobody did! I went into the surgery and was told again that someone would call me back & that appointments were now for 4-6 weeks time! Nobody called! Today (Mon 24th) I called again, explained again, & once again was told the person who books appts wasnt in until Wednesday! I explained that if I couldnt get my medical done I couldnt work,& was told someone will call me! I am not holding my breath! So frustrating! Especially being my livelihood!! Its difficult enough trying to speak to somone and when you dont get the call back you are promised is really bad practise! When you do eventually see the doctors they are great! Fingers crossed I get a call back this time!

    After switching to this GP they cancelled my prescriptions a week out of running out of antidepressants. Was told I would need a review of my prescriptions before I could order them again. A week later and I still don’t have my prescription and have run out. An emergency prescription was supposedly sent to my pharmacy but never materialised.
