I have no complaints with my doctors at this surgery I have always been satisfied with the care I have received. I had a blood test recently and questions to ask the nurse she went out of her way to answer them for me.

my experience with this GP was very good .All the staff are cooperative and willing to help.The doctor are very polite and i have excellent experience when i go there.

Every time I visit this surgery, the receptionists are welcoming and helpful. The surgery its so well run and organised. All the Doctors are great, and always go the extra mile. All the years I've been a patient here I have felt respected and cared for. Thank you all of you.

Actually saw a Dr in August, who advised me to drop my hypertension medication and to monitor my blood pressure for a few weeks to assess the impact of this. The BP was OK for the first couple of weeks, but this week (& particularly yesterday) it has gone up alarmingly. I went online at 8am today, but by 8.11 the website had still not opened. I therefore rang (12th in the queue) & waited. When the receptionist answered, I told her about the screen not opening, to which she replied "it is now, so you have to go back on the website to book an appointment"! Seriously?? However, I said nothing & waited for a Dr to contact me. 2 hours later I had a text from a different doctor telling me to monitor my blood pressure for a week! So not only could I not get to see the doctor, but he wouldn't even speak to me so that I could tell him that I have already done this and have all my results already to hand. I have been a patient at this practice for 50+ years and, whilst the doctors and nurses are very kind, caring, professional and skilled, it is becoming impossible to get near them. All of this has happened since Covid - why can't things go back to the way they were before??

This will give us the opportunity to investigate your concerns in full. We have this week changed our appointment system moving away from our book on the day system so you really shouldn’t have experienced the medical appointment request form closed at 8.11am, I am hoping we can investigate this further if you are comfortable sharing your information. I am grateful that you have acknowledged that one of our efficient GP’s contacted you within 2 hours of you requesting advice, and followed our policy of asking you to monitor for a week – this is so the medical team can effectively devise a treatment plan for you. If you already have a week’s readings to hand, please do submit them via the website, it will speed up the process. Thank you for the positive feedback regarding our wonderful team and I hope you will experience the benefits of our new flexible appointment system. Kind Regards Sophia Raja

Hormone replacement therapy review. The nurse was so helpful and the appointment fast. Yardley Wood Health Centre as a whole, from reception, the doctors, nurses and admin staff, have been so helpful and efficient, with our whole family, this past couple of years. The introduction of Florey has taken long phone waits out of the equation and it’s always good to have a paper trail, for the practice and patients. I’ve been at this surgery my whole 54 years, can’t thank them all enough for their help and advice. I have a housebound 87 year old mum who’s not in the best of health, they couldn’t be more helpful and caring. I’m very grateful to every member of staff. Thank you!

We identified an issue with our phone wait times a few years ago and worked incredibly hard since to reduce those wait times and streamline our processes so they work for the staff and patients - I am proud to say; I think we may have cracked it!
