dad was taken to A and E by ambulance early hours of this morning, it is now 17:16 and I do not know what ward he is in, what's wrong with him or anything. I have called A&E but there is no reply, the operator could not tell me anything about him either. This is not good enough.

Can never get through to anyone can ive left several voicemails and no one gets back to you. Im having 10+ seizures daily and had a urgent referral from gp and still haven’t heard anything from neurology. I cant keep living my life in fear of having a seizure if I leave the house and gp keeps telling me to contact neurology

Very impressed with the excellent service my husband received from the Aras team at Bedford Hospital. From his initial emergency phone call to his follow up appointment on the Respiratory clinic today. Can’t fault them!

I had to bring my elderly mother to the A&E department on 15.1.23 I was so impressed with the care and kindness shown to her alongside the very careful and thorough medical attention she received. Many thanks to you all.

Thank you for the care the whole medical and nursing team in A&E, including the Porters and Domestic and ancillary staff, gave to my elderly mother following her fall at home. You were all very professional and caring and we felt confident Mum was in, and will continue to be, safe hands. Thank you.

I had to visit A&E this morning and the treatment I received was first class in terms of care, courtesy and professionalism. No lengthy waits in any of departments I had to visit and the courtesy and pleasant, and the friendly attitude shown by all members of staff was exceptional. Thank you so very much.

It would help if a simple map of your departments was available. Trying to find where the CT scan department is not very helpful even with the written word.

Considering the pressures you are under I was so appreciative of the help and attention from the ambulance ladies, nurses & Doctors on Wednesday night. We expect a delay at this difficult time but the kindness shown meant a lot and also having any questions answered and explained. Thank you everyone - you are brilliant.

From the start we were greeting by a lovely friendly receptionist who was very helpful. The nurses and Doctor that we saw whilst there were so kind and friendly with my child and their treatment was amazing. I am so grateful for the treatment my child received. Thank you!

I have macular and my husband glaucoma. During our Bedford Hospital eye treatment we felt treated as if we matter, with patience and kindness, the nurse offering to hold my hand during injections. With waiting time kept to a minimum, the doctor's surgery in Bedford welcomes us and is always eager to help. The doctors are again patient and kind. Both services in Bedford make us feel the best is being done for us. We moved to Shambrook from Yorkshire, giving us experiences of both health services. While in Yorkshire we had nothing with which to compare our health treatment experience, now we believe that Yorkshire healthcare is lacking in some areas compared to Bedford health service. P.S. After this year I spent 5 days in hospital in Bedford (the one that actually cares for their elderly who have had a fall). The nurses, doctors and staff were kind and patient with us all.
