Review titled Fab
Rated 5 stars out of 5

The paramedics were very helpful , I hit my head in west bay and were so lovely . I lost a lot of blood, and they checked me over and made sure that I was ok. They weren’t called for me but came to make sure I was ok

Review titled Nightmare parking
Rated 1 star out of 5

Ref the parking meter behind the hospital Many people don’t carry cash for the meter The parking phone number does not work and you need an app to pay which is hopeless for many older people It’s not clear there is an alternative machine which takes card payments in the upper car park although I was able to rustle up the cash The staff at the hospital are brilliant and I know it’s challenging in an old property but please improve the signage or better still have 2 machines that take card payments

Review titled Not enough disabled spaces!
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Adam C - Posted on 23 February 2023
With only 2 disabled car park spaces, that is not enough. There is plenty of room to create 2-3 additional spaces if they removed a patch of grass and re-designed the space layout. Too many people who do not have a blue badge, park in these 2 spaces, or they will become a pick up spot. So as a disabled man with walking issues, I often find there are no spaces left! This is not right. Why can’t you improve/add more spaces? It’s not fair when you need a space but it’s too limited. Happy to be contacted.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback. Your comments have been forwarded to Lisa Wright, Deputy Head of Facilities, Northern and she has asked me to relay the following: _‘Thank you for your feedback. We will be reviewing the number of disabled spaces at Bideford Hospital and including them in our car park development programme. Extra disabled spaces should be in place in the next two months.’ _ Once again, thank you for taking the time to feed back to us – it enables us to listen and improve our services. Best wishes Michael
