  1. Review titled Excellent mammogram

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Lynn Downes - Posted on 19 October 2022

I have always experienced problems having a mammogram, lots of discomfort and complications with procedure, but today was so painless and straightforward. The member of staff dealt with everything so expertly, the experience was totally different from previous checks. Thank you so much.

  2. Review titled Excellent Radiologist

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Denise Raine - Posted on 03 October 2022

I attended Radiology today with my 90 year old mother. The male radiologist was outstanding in his approach and sensitivity without being patronising to a very frail elderly person. He ensured her safety at all times and minimised the time she needed to stand. He also ensured that we were given a suitable room to enable her to get a gown on whilst still in her wheelchair. An excellent example of the care given by NHS practitioners.

  3. Review titled Excellent nurse at overflow appointment.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Lynda Kempsey - Posted on 02 September 2022

The nurse my son and I came to see regarding a pain in his chest and back was excellent for her expertise and demeanour. She showed a genuine interest in his worries (and him in general), recognising his anxiety about the pain and using a brilliant app to show him exactly where his pains were coming from. She did not bat an eyelid at his unique way of expressing himself - ('the pain is sometimes in the shape of South America'). He's downloaded Essential Anatomy himself now and it has ousted the Play Station! The treatment she advised has worked too. I do not know this lady's name but she is amazing at her job, from her bedside manner to her lime sock on one foot and orange one on another - I'm guessing to distract younger children who are feeling upset and poorly. Hope she can get this message one way or another. Our appointment was an overflow appt from Stanhope Practice on 30th August, 2022 just after 2 pm. I told her in person it was the best appointment I had ever attended but feel she should get recognition from the workplace too. Lynda Kempsey, Wolsingham.
