  2. Review titled Faultless MIU visit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sly - Posted on 11 March 2024

Needing a recent head wound dressing renewing while on holiday I went to MIU. Although offiially not done anymore the staff agreed to do it with no hesitation. The old dressing was removed, the area cleaned of dried blood and a fresh dressing applied within 15 minutes of arriving. I was assured the deep wound was healing and how to treat it on arriving back home after the holiday. Nothing was too much trouble. Parking is easy but your registration number has to be entered on a keypad inside. Excellent service by all in MIU, well done.

I went to Bridgnorth Hospital Minor Injuries Unit after standing on a 3 pin plug resulting in two puncture wounds. I was attended to very quickly and my foot was dressed. The staff were very courteous and kind. This is a brilliant facility.

  4. Review titled What a wonderful local facility!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I visited the MIU this evening with a laceration on my arm, which I had attempted to dress myself. I wanted advice and support. The wound was cleaned and the skin put back in place and secured with a proper dressing. I was seen very swiftly and the nurse was wonderfully reassuring and very skilful. Everything about the hospital filled me with confidence. We are very lucky to have this local facility.

Visited over bank holiday with knee injury, the staff were brilliant, back next day for X-ray, seen by consultant after few days. The staff were so lovely and caring and have time for you to sort problems, what a fantastic facility to have accessible.
