Review titled Urgent Treatment Centre - outstanding:)
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 14 July 2023
The kindest people on the planet work at Chase Farm, some of them in the UTC. I arrived overwhelmingly distressed about ovarian cyst issues, and was treated with understanding and compassion. I was also seen almost immediately, and was given all the time and reassurance I needed. Thank you all. I am so grateful!

Review titled Cancelled day surgery operation
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 23 June 2023
Booked in for day surgery operation with phone cofirmation. Admitted to surgery at 12noon with all stats taken to be told at 3.00 that the surgery was booked after the unit effectively closed. Witnessed 2 other patients arrive at 7am and not seen until 2pm. What a shameful shambles of organisation.

Review titled Poor communication
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 29 June 2023
After having two biopsy taken and told that i need to return in 1 weeks time, i have had no communication regarding my results or an appointment. I have tried several numbers which all lead to an answer machine. after three days someone did call but could not find any information about me on their system. They said they would call me back before the end of the day, but I heard nothing. Its been really difficult trying to speak to a person.

Review titled The best of the b(r)e(a)st...
Rated 5 stars out of 5

The Breast Surgery Clinic at Chase Farm is everything a clinic should be - it's staffed by experienced professionals who are respectful and kind, and do everything they can to be as reassuring as possible. Today I had the biopsy I had always dreaded and, as they promised, it was completely painless! There are two parts to medicine - the technical skills and the "bedside manner". Luckily for the patients, this clinic understands, and provides, the best of both :)

12pm appointment for day surgery ended up with a 5pm surgery time gowned at 5.30pm and cancelled at 6.30pm as ran out of time!!! No good or water all day as was told to stop food at 6am for the 12pm appointment in which around 10 other people arrived and then the whole saga starts! Communication is terrible and staff are rude and think they are above you

Review titled Fantastic Service!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Ellen Louise - Posted on 11 May 2023
I have recently been referred from my GP to the dermatology department at Chase Farm. I have found that the doctors, nurses and secretaries have all been absolutely amazing. I needed a lump removed and they organised it within 4 weeks of my original appointment. The ladies that carried out the procedure were so friendly and really put me at ease. On previous ocassions, I have visited the urgent care department who have the friendliest staff too! They are really helpful and always go above and beyond. I could not recommend this hospital more!

Review titled Fixed my mistake
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 05 June 2023
In my rush to get my near 90year old mum treated I stupidly went to the wrong hospital. Just presumed GP had sent me to Chase Farm as that is where we previously went. Unfortunately they couldn't accept the referral form because it had a printed signature. After a bit of back and forth with the GP reception a wet signature form was sent through. The forms were accepted and mum was x-rayed within ten minutes. The x-ray and MRI area is excellent and staff at there and GP were so helpful. Thanks

Review titled Impressive hospital, impressive care
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 28 May 2023
The best hospital experience I have ever had. All the staff were helpful and kind and the medical and nursing staff were exceptional with great knowledge, expertise and excellent people skills. And in the Surgery Ward you get a room to yourself so much less stressful than a noisy ward and less chance of cross infection. Alas, the public transport links are bad from North West London despite Chase Farm being of the Royal Free. No bus from the only accessible station nearby (Oakwood) and difficult to get to for 7 am. But overall, many thanks to the staff at Chase Farm, I can't fault anyone with whom I came into contact.
