Review titled Almost perfection
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Grumpy - Posted on 22 July 2023
3 telephone calls answered promptly and clearly . On arrival I became lost in building site when a nurse went out of her to take me to dept. Efficient polite and humours clerk at reception desk . Most pleasant and helpful doctor who I am sure went beyond her remit explained in layman's term all my problems , options and treatment Could not have been bettered and a example for others to follow . Only criticism, constructive I hope , is that current map on your website is updated with road closure and building works for the benefit of strangers

Review titled Excellent Care
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I just wanted thank all the Nursing staff, the anaesthetist and the surgeon himself. I must say I’ve never been in such a nice, clean and friendly environment. My nurse went above and beyond to make me feel calm. I was cold and she brought me a warm blanket. My surgeon, congratulated me on my weight loss and was so happy with my progress. He made my day. The people on the board must realise what wonderful staff they have. Thanks again.

Review titled Out standing
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Carol Barnes - Posted on 25 February 2023
Exemplary care from everyone outstanding in every department. Efficient, compassionate and caring. This is the best hospital, even better than Murrayfield (who are good) which I have used many times but Clatterbridge leaves them in the shade. Thank you all - Highly Recommend.

Review titled Very good all round experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 13 February 2023
Arrived 1 hour early for a scan as not familiar with hospital layout. Despite bus stop having been moved due to biuldibg works.. a kind staff member walked me to the right dept. I was seen very quickly and the whole matter was soon carried out and I left a few minutes after the original time of the appointment. All the staff were very considerate and friendly whilst also being very professional. A good example of the NHS at its best. Very well done.

Thank you for kind feedback. The hospital grounds are large and the layout can be a bit daunting, particularly during the current improvement work, which has necessitated some road and bus diversion. It is good to know that the staff were so attentive in showing you to the right department. We are pleased that your scan then went well, and that the staff there were similarly friendly and professional.

Review titled Excellent experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Vicki Jackson - Posted on 11 January 2023
My brother is autistic, has a fear of hospitals and becomes very anxious if he is kept waiting, particularly if the environment is noisy and busy with people. The physiotherapist we saw was excellent. He saw my brother on time, so minimal waiting, in a side room, rather than a curtained cubicle, which was roomy and quiet. He clearly explained the process and asked us to provide the information we had. He examined my brother without touching him and provided clear and concise information for next steps. It was an excellent consultation compared to previous experiences with other services where the professional had taken time to read and understand my brother's health passport in advance and reacted appropriately with his treatment plan. I want to thank the physiotherapist for his thoughtfulness, diligence and patience.

Review titled Great service, pity about the parking
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Andy - Posted on 10 November 2022
I have been a regular visitor to Clatterbridge hospital over the years and have always had excellent care. My only issue is, as a disabled blue badge holder, the provision of disabled parking is woeful. For outpatients I think there are about six or seven. There are more in the general car park but these are charged for. As a pensioner the charge is over the top. Yesterday a taxi was taking up one bay waiting for his passenger!
