  1. Review titled Excellent

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was admitted on 15/1024 for orthopaedic day surgery. From walking through the door to leaving the service I received from all members off staff was excellent. They were all professional, kind and welcoming. Too many names to remember but housekeeping, nursing, theatre, anaesthetic and recovery staff were all amazing. I would recommend to everyone.

  2. Review titled Extremely caring staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had a problem with my eye. The staff were run off their feet! I was seen in approx 2 hours, which I thought was good, considering the amount of people needing attention! My overall observation was that medical staff and receptionists were extremely professional and caring! I cannot thank them enough! I left feeling at ease and was told not to hesitate to revsit if my eye showed signs of deterioration or did not show signs of improvement with the medication given within a few days.

I attended because of shortness of breath & subsequent panic attack. I was seen very pr0mptly to get my obs checked & then ,as it wasn't too serious, by a nurse He was absolutely marvellous; understanding, knowledgeable & reassuring. His help & advice is greatly appreciated. Many thanks; we are so lucky to have this facility in Louth.

  5. Review titled Fantastic experience thank you

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended Louth Hospital for an Echocardiogram arranged by InHealth. The staff at the hospital where I attended couldn’t have done anymore for me, from signposting staff around the hospital to receptionists and the radiographer, I was treated with dignity, respect, patience, kindness at every possible opportunity. The diagnostic technician who carried out my test went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable, safe and my dignity was upheld throughout the entirety of my appointment. They talked to me the entire time to distract me because I was so nervous. I was reassured and supported throughout the whole process. The professional was well informed and extremely experienced, with good knowledge of neurodivergence and hidden disabilities which I was so grateful for. I didn’t come out of my appointment feeling upset, distressed, anxious or worried, which made the world of difference for me. The person made me feel at ease and made sure I didn’t feel embarrassed. They explained everything at every step and asked for my permission before proceeding. I felt like the individual genuinely cared about me, my support needs and my experience & I couldn’t be more grateful for the care I received. The person made an uncomfortable procedure bearable and it was done before I knew it. Lots of seating space in the waiting room used, a separate room for the procedure with additional privacy screens outside as an extra barrier. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly because the instructions provided about where to go weren’t exactly clear and I got a bit lost. I wholeheartedly believe they absolutely went above and beyond and I couldn’t fault the care I received and the level of service offered by InHealth and Louth hospital on this occasion. Thank you so much. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this service to anyone else having the same diagnostic procedure.

  7. Review titled Really gone downhill

Rated 1 star out of 5

I attended with a suspected broken/dislocated big toe. Before xray the nurse told me it wasnt broken and that was just the shape my toe was. I informed the nurse that my toe was normally straight and was again told no it wasn't and that was just the shape it had always been. After xray the same nurse came to tell me it was broken. I was given an incorrect number for orthopaedics at lincoln and told to contact the number. After attempting the number over a dozen time I then presented myself at lincoln a and e where I was given a heel walking shoe so that I could at least be mobile and advice on pain relief as my current pain relief was not having any impact. Lincoln checked the referral for orthopaedics had been done which thankfully it had been. I am so disappointed in louth, previously they have always been amazing and caring but on this occasion the nurse in question couldnt have been less interested. I was crying in pain and sent on my way with nothing. I appreciate people have bad days but I was in absolute agony and was made to feel like an inconvenience.

  9. Review titled Stupid policy

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Jodes - Posted on 23 May 2023

So we had our 20 week ultrasound today and after finding out that the baby is healthy, they asked us if we were planning on finding out the gender so I told them that we were planning a gender reveal. They said they couldn’t write down the gender, I asked them if they would be able to tell my sister who’s planning the whole thing. They said that they weren’t allowed to tell anyone, not even the father. I understand to a certain degree why they do this but if they have my permission I do not see the issue. We’ve already spent money on things for the gender reveal, and were not told about this policy before so we didn’t have a choice but to book a private scan, something I was hoping I wouldn’t have to do as £60 is the cheapest one we could find and it’s all the way in Lincoln so its even more money just so that we can make it special. It’s not special just being told and it will determine how you’re going to raise your child, what you’re going to buy, etc. so it is an important thing (not that I even have to justify how I want to find out my baby’s gender as that’s my choice as the mother!)

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended after falling in my garage and was in extreme pain. I was treated with care and respect immediately on entering. Given pain killers until it was my turn to be seen. All the staff were very professional yet caring. They are a credit the the NHS and I would just like to thank them all including the X-ray dept. So thank you xxx
