From the person on the 111 call to being seen at the clinic I cannot fault the service I received, it was excellent, thank you.

Went today for the first time. Very chilled out place, staff very friendly and welcoming. Did not have to wait very long to be seen.

  3. Review titled Wonderful hospital

Rated 5 stars out of 5

The Radiographer at Beverley was absolutely wonderful with my daughter (she got a sewing needing through her finger) and she put my daughter at ease and explained everything that was going to happen to her . We couldn’t have had better service and the next day when we had to go back for another X-ray my daughter said I hope I have that lovely lady again and we did so she was very happy. All the nursing staff were lovely and friendly so I just wanted to say thank you to everyone.

  4. Review titled Dreadful receptionists

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Very poor communication skills, bordering on rude. Unfortunately this is my 2nd time ever to attend this establishment and on both occasions the reception staff lack courtesy and respect. They could do with training skills on how to make clients feel at ease and not almost be barked at. The last occasion there was no excuse as they weren’t particularly busy. Completely disinterested and in my opinion ignorant. Maybe if they read this you know who you are .

  5. Review titled Welcoming and friendly

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Attended X ray late on a bank holiday. Both people in the department were welcoming, friendly and efficient. They are both a credit to the NHS. They put me at ease and that has to be a good thing.

  6. Review titled DIamond Radiology Team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 02 September 2022

Having fallen twice within a fortnight, my elderly mother suffered a badly bruised and inflamed knee which caused her pain and mobility issues. Her fear of hospitals is inherent but heightened by her mixed dementia. The stress of having to visit hospital could cause yet more mini strokes which would further damage her health. After a home visit from a member of the NHS physio team, an X-ray was recommended, so we contacted 111 for advice since the GP surgery had no appointments for a month. The triage nurse contacted Beverley Urgent Treatment centre to get an appointment and was assured that Mum would be seen as soon as she arrived unless an emergency took priority. We ‘booked in’ at reception and waited, and waited. After two and a half hours I asked why the delay! Having seen a full waiting room virtually empty and be replaced with yet more patients it was obvious that Mum was being ignored. What was the problem? Even a youngster having run out of medication for an ear infection, who arrived an hour after us had been seen and left. After making a complaint to reception the ‘medical team’ were again alerted to Mums existence, meanwhile I was spoken to by the head clinician who spent five minutes explaining their ‘priority system’ which was utter tripe having treated a girl with a residual ear infection out of sequence. Finally Mums obs were taken whilst questioning Mum at length, having already been informed of Mums dementia, then back to the long wait. After three and a half hours of waiting a clinician with attitude who insisted on asking a lot of detailed questions of Mum who struggled to answer and with her dementia, gave some mis information. An X-ray was deemed necessary but the department had closed for the day. An appointment was made for the following day! We returned the following day more confident as the appointment would shortcut yet another long wait. The radiologist and nurse were the saving Grace of the entire experience. Their professional approach, genuine care and careful handling of my 81 year old Mum were a credit to the NHS and a gift to us all. These two ladies went over and above the call of duty to put Mum and I at ease and deftly manoeuvre Mums injured knee to take the necessary images. We left their domain feeling valued and cared for. Sadly marred by yet another two and a half hours wait to see a nurse to interpret the images and examine Mums knee yet again. The Radiology team are diamonds in the darkness.
