  1. Review titled Expert and prompt care after my accident

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Sarina McNamara - Posted on 13 November 2024

High praise for all the staff on the Minor Injuries Unit. Expert care and advise and prompt treatment through all departments including triage, x-ray, diagnosis and treatment. I arrived at the hospital by ambulance after a fall whilst out walking my dog and ended up with a broken ankle. The service and treatment I received was explained to me in full and delivered with skill and competence. The staff are excellent in all they do. Thank you 🙏

  3. Review titled So impressed

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Jean Booker - Posted on 18 July 2023

I was so impressed with the treatment I received at the Falmouth minor injuries unit. I fell while walking on holiday and attended the miu on 28 June, where it was found I'd broken my ankle. I was treated efficiently, professionally and with care, kindness and friendliness, despite the unit being very busy that morning. It helped turn an unhappy accident into a more positive experience. Reception, triage, x ray are all to be commended but particular thanks must go to the nurse who led on my case. She was exceptional and went out of her way to be helpful and reassuring. Some of our larger hospitals could learn much from the approaches employed by this community facility - i wish there were more of them! Thank you falmouth miu! I'm half way through my recovery and can't wait to get back to Cornwall!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended the Falmouth Hospital on 29th April following a toe injury. The receptionists, nurses, radiologist were absolutely wonderful, kind, caring and attentive. I returned on Monday, a bank holiday, for an xray and the service was wonderful yet again. Thank you so much for providing such a brilliant service.

  5. Review titled day unit is fantastic!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Julia Marlow - Posted on 07 February 2023

yesterday I need to go for a blood transfusion, I have never been to Falmouth Hospital before, as I live much closer to other hospitals in Cornwall, but Falmouth could see me in a very timely manner. I am always a little apprehensive when having treatment at a new venue, well it turns out I need'nt have worried, as soon as I arrived the staff put me at ease, a lovely friendly unit, clean and relaxed. The staff were attentive and caring, dispite the fact they were under enormous pressure. I would defenatly choose to go there again if I needed further treatment

  6. Review titled Fantastic Minor Injuries

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Just wanted to say what a fantastic job the Minor Injuries Unit are doing. We were in and out in less than an hour and they treated my little girl so kindly, even giving her a teddy for being brave after dislocating her elbow! Thank you Falmouth!
