  1. Review titled Told to leave my 3 year old with a stranger

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Henrietta - Posted on 27 March 2023

My 3 year was told by the receptionist that he wasn’t allowed in the room with my 15 month old whilst he had an x ray and that he had to stay outside. My 3 year was so upset as he did not want to be left with a stranger in a waiting room, firstly the receptionist should have spoken to me, not my child and then I should not have shouted at, spoken to in such a rude manner by the lady who was going to do the x ray about why I wouldn’t leave my 3 year old who was upset with a stranger and made to feel uncomfortable. It was such an awful experience

  2. Review titled Insensitive

Rated 4 stars out of 5

My non-binary 16yr old was quite upset by the fact the nurse doing their blood test refused to call them by their preferred name. Given the fact they have been suffering with mental health issues, partly relating to their gender dysphoria, this was really unhelpful. It may seem trivial to some, but being disrespected for who they are can trigger harmful behaviour in vulnerable young people, which we feel NHS staff should be aware of.

  3. Review titled Dreadful reception

by Haslemere resident - Posted on 14 October 2022

I went into reception as a walk-in. I was physically fine except I had a sore, slightly swollen and tender eye, my vision was slightly blurry in that eye. I had no idea why. The website says Haslemere Minor Injuries Unit can look at eye injuries. So I go there first thing in the morning. The receptionist said to go to Royal Surrey Hospital if it's serious. I said but I don't know if it's serious, could someone please look at it and tell me? The receptionist said they can't do that there. They were very rude and dismissive. I left feeling very upset. I had wasted time going there as I couldn't even be seen for a preliminary medical opinion. Dreadful, my recommendation is not to go here!

  4. Review titled Brilliant Audiologist

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mr Inglis Wightman - Posted on 26 September 2022

I recently had an appointment with an audiologist, don’t remember his name he looked like Father Christmas. What a brilliant experience. He was totally professional, explained everything fully with a sense of humour and answered all my questions. What a great guy, happy Christmas to you!
