    I attended the 2-week wait clinic in the Dermatology department recently. Having seen my GP and been referred for a freckle on my lip I received a telephone call and an appointment was booked very swiftly and efficiently within only a few days of my GP appointment. On the day of my Dermatology appointment I was somewhat anxious. The Nurse called me into the clinic consulting room very soon after I had checked in. The Doctor examined my lip and quickly reassured me that at the moment there was no cause for concern. I just needed to keep an eye on the freckle and watch for changes in shape or enlargement. I was very relieved. During the consultation the Doctor explained everything thoroughly and was extremely courteous at all times. I want to say how grateful I am to all concerned in Dermatology. I must say my experience of the NHS was incredibly efficient and caring ... a huge thank you to all in Dermatology.

    From first visit to minor op every one in the department was helpful, friendly and professional. A cup of tea and biscuit after the procedure was appreciated especially as it was going home time. Thanks everyone

    I received very kind and informative assessment. Response from GP referral within 2 weeks, appointment on time. Could not fault attention, information and caring attitude from staff, particularly doctor in training and fully qualified professional. My only comment which is nothing to do with health care is concerning parking. I am really pleased to see that there is a new system of pay on exit however I think this needs to be explained more clearly in the car park and pay booths.
