Very slow pace of work with weeks between appointments. You have to wait for someone to call you so you can book an ultrasound and they take a week to do that. The appointment is 2 weeks away and so it goes on and on and on. The worst of all is that there was no treatment to my problem in the end. I wanted to have surgery for the removal of fibroids but after wasting my time with appointments for 2 months the gynaecologist refused to do it or refer me to someone else. I have spoken to 3 different doctors since then, including to one who operated last year, and they all have confirmed that surgery is the best option but I now have to go through the whole process again before I can have the surgery. Attending appointments here was the biggest waste of time. I didn't see that the doctor was qualified enough to deal with the problem nor that he was willing to tailor the solution to the patient. He was generally negative and seemed overwhelmed most of the time. Most disappointing was the letter that he sent to the GP, which I have seen, in which the findings of the tests were misrepresented in order to justify his refusal for an operation. Of course I do not recommend this hospital at all. Dealing with their radiologist in order to get the ultrasound images was another negative experience here. He sent me very short text-style messages that lacked basic formalities and were misspelt to the point that they were incomprehensible. It just added to the overall unprofessional picture. Please, note that all appointments here run late. The staff have no sense of urgency. Receptionists are moody. I do not recommend this hospital nor any BMI hospital. I had a very negative experience in their East London hospital previously and if it had been clear that this is a BMI hospital I would not have agreed to be sent here by the insurance company at all. I recommend to everyone to avoid.

Wonderful experience with the pre - operative assessment staff in outpatient clinic.I would love to mention how good the nurse & the pharmacist, they were very professional,friendly & caring. I was very relaxed during the test especially when the nurse who took blood samples , she was very good & fast. The pharmacist reviewed very carefully all my medications and explained to me very clearly what to do before & after the operation. I am very grateful for all the help and support.
