The staff on cedars ward really showed outstanding care and teamwork to turn my health around. Holistic care at its finest! As soon as I arrived on the ward I was looked at and immediately treated with care as an individual for my needs. Staff listened to me , were warm and friendly. Thankyou each and every one of you!

  3. Review titled Outstanding Treatment.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Your Review: Referred to the Maple Unit for Dvt by my General Practice.Given an appointment for One hour after my Doctor phoned. Treated by Nurse who could not have been more helpful. Carried out a preliminary examination, and gave me some temporary medication. Arranged for me to have an ultra sound examination to confirm diagnosis for the following day. Following confirmation of a DVT, the same nurse with the help of a very clear booklet, explained in detail all the issues around the diagnosis. Arrangements were then made for me to have a further X ray and for me to collect necessary medication from the hospital pharmacy All of this took place within a 24 hour time frame. Cannot speak too highly of the treatment I received.

  4. Review titled Total dedicated patient care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

From the pre-operative services, including communications and encouragement by the medical secretary to the surgeon(s) and then through admission to discharge in a matter of a couple of days, my knee replacement operation has been superbly managed. The pre-operative advice and the post-operative monitoring and care were exceptional. Difficult to refrain from mentioning individual names, but Rugby St Cross is a coherently run, efficient, and pleasant facility where the emphasis above everything is to ensure patient focus, comfort and well-being. The combination and combining of so many varying skills, amongst its staff, backed up by experienced decisive management are an exemplar of a totally professional service. The culture and attitudes, if they can be assessed in such a short stay are so welcome at this time of so many demanding external influences. I wish to thank everybody from porter, catering, cleaning and admission staff, to pre-operative and post operative physiotherapy experts, to the expert anaesthetic team and the surgical team in the theatre. The post operative recovery nurses kept excellent communication going with me and back to the consultants where necessary, then back in the ward I was closely monitored and my recovery gently administered by ward based nurses and patient care staff, despite their having to work such long hours. And what a lovely demeanour the young lad serving food had, to the random changes of mind by patients when it came to meal times. my sincere thanks to you all

  5. Review titled Very Rude Reception and Disorganised

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 14 December 2022

I was booked in by 111 to be told at check in I shouldn’t be there … like I knew that … and that I will be sent away… this from the very rude receptionist who had judged me as a single mother… Then when I asked regarding the screen in reception she was very rude again for no reason!! The lady should not have a job on reception no empathy or understanding at all. I am horrified by how I was treated.

  6. Review titled Unable to get a specialist appointment

    by Jess 12 - Posted on 14 December 2022

Rugby Urgent Care Centre at the Hospital of St Cross. No doctor of nurse on duty who are able to prescribe so what is the point? The advice is to go to A&E st UHCW - they say there is only a 12 hour wait! Don’t seem to care at all that you can’t breath . If it cannot be staffed properly there is no point. Unable to get a specialist appointment at the hospital for 18 months, well my son won’t be in this world in 6 months! Feeling like I have nowhere to turn.

  7. Review titled Blood taking department

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended the blood taking department on the 1st November morning . The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for me. The blood taking was the best I have had and I wasn’t sore afterwards. Would recommend going here for bloods. Thank you to all staff.
