I attended Vascular Out-Patient on two occasions. It is a tranquil and friendly department with delightful Reception lady on my second visit, medical and technical personal are informative. Special mention of your secretary when I made a telephone enquiry regarding my appointment for investigation, she very kindly and helpfully organised an appointment for me. Thank you to you all!

  4. Review titled Awful phone service

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 15 May 2023

It takes so long to get through to outpatients by telephone. Why can't you just go through to the department you need to speak to? It would save having to be a person who did not attend and become a telephone appointment instead. Wastes patients time too!

  5. Review titled Great service, friendly staff, efficient

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 May 2023

My husband had a head injury following a fall which resulted in 6 stitches and a hairline fracture to his elbow. From start to finish, including an xray, the service we received was exemplary. The staff were friendly, funny, which put him at ease and very professional. Everyone we came into contact with was a credit to the unit. Thank you.

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I had to attend Haematuria Clinic in Urology under the 2 week pathway for tests so was obviously very apprehensive about results. The staff were very understanding and friendly and put me at ease. The examination was carried out in a very dignified manner which I appreciated. Fortunately l received good news.

On my recent visit, the public toilet in the Ultrasound department was disgusting in that the toilet bowl didn't look as if it had ever seen bleach

  9. Review titled Great treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Margaret Grace Pithers - Posted on 19 June 2023

Had a Total Knee replacement, Operation went well and I was very well looked after by my brilliant surgeon, who has previously replaced both my hips. Also my anaesthetist, was amazing and made me feel relaxed and was also excellent, where would be without these caring and dedicated people. NHS you all do an amazing job and deserve to be paid a decent wage, I am on your side.

  10. Review titled Not so great

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 05 April 2023

Nurses, talking in own language over patients, some are amazing and some have no compassion and treat patients like they are an inconvenience. Witnessed many time, and hearing my mum calling out for help as being to rough whilst nurses are changing her and doing stuff to her, an ongoing issue and hearing some of the story’s from her of how she’s spoken to or treated is appalling. No regular changes unless we ask for her to be chsnged. But the one that is the worst is having a conversation over her/other patients in own language and ignoring the patient. Have first hand witnessed this on many occasions.
