  1. Review titled Improved experience

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Dawn James - Posted on 27 April 2023

Our Daughter has been in the mental health services for many years now and was a patient in Langley Green back in 2012 at the age of 18yrs. I felt that I needed to write this review as I was pleasantly surprised at the massive improvement in all aspects of her care in comparison to her previous admission. 1. Friendly reception when entering. (Phone & in person) 2. Spotlessly clean building 3. Very calm organised friendly staff on the ward 4. Excellent Psychiatrist ( very thorough & understanding) 5. Very understanding & helpful around her Autistic difficulties. The only negative was a long 3 weeks wait for a bed after being sectioned & the length of time before she was reviewed by the psychiatrist once in Langley Green - due to them not having a permanent Dr on the ward and a temporary Dr covering. Fantastic improvement all round which made for a relaxed recovery & treatment which in turn made the whole experience less stressful for everyone involved in her care. I would go as far as to say that after the many different hospital admissions around the country that she has been in, this time round was the most positive of them all which our Daughter is also in agreement with. Great work to all involved. Thankyou
