I and my visitors were Impressed by the care, professionalism and cheerfulness of all staff. Nothing was too much trouble, staff reaction to my requests were respectful and efficient. I think the overall atmosphere on the ward hastened recovery.

Review titled Amazing place
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended the Minor Injury Unit on Saturday late afternoon for what I was hoping was just a sprained wrist obtained snowboarding. Every member of staff I encountered was professional, friendly and knowledgeable within their role. Unfortunately I could not get an X-ray with Launceston that day, but I was given the correct advice and treatment of a fractured wrist, and was told to return the following day either to Launceston or Bodmin MIU to have an X-ray to confirm which I did. Throughout my visit I was impressed with how efficient both the unit and the professionals were. Thank you everyone so much for your amazing care.

Review titled Amazing care
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I would like to give feedback on the care my 94 year old uncle has received while being a patient for over 4 weeks. This hospital is faultless. A warm friendly and helpful welcome at reception. Well signposted and very clean with staff cleaning throughly through out the day. The nursing team are so hard working and kind. The ward is inviting and spotless with clean bedding and plumped up pillows. The food and drinks are prepared and served with pride. The care is exceptional and all patients are treated with kindness, dignity and respect. I was overcome at the realisation that my uncle will not return home and the nurse on duty was really kind, comforted me and listened. I hope this nurse reads this, she had worked in the hospital for 16 years and she is so right - it runs on love. I love my uncle so much and knowing where he is and the care he has received over Christmas and new year has given me great comfort. I hope all those who work at this amazing hospital realise the difference they are making and are given the thanks they deserve. Yours with gratitude

Sunday night, 6pm, 17th December 2023. Attended minor injuries with head cut requiring stitch or glue. Lovely friendly people, from the reception lady, the triage nurse, to the nurse who attended my injury. Less than an hour overall. Previous visit with wife for broken leg, again exceptional service. NHS is there when u need it. Thanks all

Review titled Need neurodiversity training
Rated 2 stars out of 5

We visited over two seperate days for an ongoing issue. Neither visit ended well in an outcome. Staff were slow to engage and kept us waiting. Triage was full of exscuses for poor time keeping. The surgery sent us there. The hospital sent us back to the surgery. They seemed confused over what to do. They seemed to have a lack of direction and purpose. They did not understand neurodiversity and spent time being distracted by other unrelated issues.
