Review titled Just Left
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Lindsay Harvey - Posted on 30 December 2023
In extreme pain, I was left , forgotten all through the night. It’s so uncomfortable, when ur ill ,hard chairs, no access to water, food , phone charging , feels like a prison. Why can’t we have better, waiting hours , Waiting to see medics after seeing the out of hours doctor much earlier Forgotten to be placed on the Rota of the new shift. When eventually in I wasn’t diagnosed ,No meds for the pain, sent home with a suspected headache- it took a 111 call to diagnose the neuralgia and shingles erupting everywhere. That was the next day . Well done him x

Review titled Nurse in charge
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 23 December 2023
Rung a and e and spoke to nurse in charge and quite frankly was really well rude and put phone down on me. I asked if they had a maxilofacial specialist in a and e and she litterally asked what was wrong . Which was i have been in pain for 6 days now and she said nope and put the phone down on me. Disgusting behaviour .

Review titled Waiting list office telephone answering
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Jeanette Groom - Posted on 31 March 2024
For months since last November I have tried calling the waiting list office to find out when my surgery is going to be after they cancelled it for a third time with just 12 hours notice.. They told me they could rebook me for Christmas eve but I had to decline this as I was going away for Christmas..since then I gave heard notjing the phone just rings when calling and then after ringing for 5minutes someone picks up phone and not speaking only drop it down again.. Terrible service will never tell someone to choose this hospital who can noteven answer a phone...

Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Julia Norman - Posted on 02 December 2023
I had a stroke and the speed, skill and efficiency of my care was reassuring and amazing. Every member of staff from the triage guy to the doctors, nurses and radiographers was incredible. I would like to thank them for all the years of study and dedication they have committed that has resulted in such a fantastic team. Thank you all.

Review titled No Contact
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Michael Farrugia - Posted on 28 November 2023
My husband attended the Urology dept. 2/11/23 and had biopsies taken after being told it was highly likely he has got Prostrate Cancer. A follow up appt. was made for the 20/11/23 to get the results of the biopsy but this was cancelled over the phone as they did not have any results yet from the biopsies. From the 27/11/23 we have been trying to contact the secretary of Urology to ask about a follow up appt. as they should have the results by now. But the phone just keeps ringing, just beofe it cuts off you are told this person is not available and you cannot leave a message. We have rung numerous times now and the response is still the same, no answer. If you ring the Urology dept. you are told they cannot help you as they do not get the results, and you have to speak to the secretary, who you cannot get hold of. This is distressing as we are anxiously waiting to see if I have Prostrate Cancer, it feels like no one gives a dam. I have had cancer before and was hoping I was not going down this road again. But who knows as you cannot speak to anyone who can help. I think the service is appalling as no one you speak to is helpful. It would be nice if someone bothered to make contact with a follow up appt.

Review titled Serious injuries being treated as minor
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 28 December 2023
Attended because I dislocated me knee and heard a snap in my leg. Went to a&e had x Ray an was basically told to go away. I was given no information on the x Ray results. To date I have problems walking an an keep loosing my balance. I have been waiting for MRI scan, which im told is end of January. I have had 3 frivolous othepedics appointments with the consultant in the space of that time. Makes no sense. Seems convenient to release a new covid strain on us in a time when we are all going to be spending time with family and in groups. It's also ideal whether for an airborne virus to attack our immune system. Please be careful
