    During my visit to the above ward on Sunday 28th January 2024 between 6 and 7 in the evening I was very disturbed to see a male patient being aggressive in the reception area and coming into the ladies only ward and would not leave when asked to do so. The staff did not know how to deal with this man. Surely this patient is breaking the security rules for other patients. My wife is in hospital to try and recover from a serious illness , this sort of incident is totally unacceptable and some urgent action should be taken to remove this aggressive behaviour. I hold the hospital totally responsible should anything happen . There is not enough staff at the weekend to deal with this sort of behaviour

    If I had the choice of visiting this hospital or not receiving any treatment I would take my chances doing nothing. The staff are nice but incompetent. If you need to ring someone good luck getting an answer if you could even get the the correct number in the first place. Cannot diagnose issues, treat ailments, staff their wards properly, or give consistent or accurate information.

    Waiting time was 12 hours from start to finish!!! This is unacceptable, whatever happened to the 4 hour wait.

    Recently attended for course of physiotherapy treatment.From start to finish both therapists I saw were friendly,approachable and knowledgeable and very thorough,explaining everything to me.I was put at ease and felt that they had time for me,which is so important. I cannot fault the service I received,thank you.

    My son was in for a blood test on the children’s ward for a follow up, I can not praise the staff enough, ever thou he was making a fuss they remained professional at all times 4 nurses/healthcare/doctors offered lots of reassurance to both me and my son

    I attended the breast clinic at MDGH today. Everyone I met were professional, knowledgeable, caring & pleasant. Any concerns I raised were addressed promptly. The environment was clean comfortable, & calm.

    I was seen promptly and had both a mammogram and CT scan. Staff friendly, polite and supportive. Volunteers offered me a cup of tea while I waited. Could not have received better care anywhere. Thank you everyone in the breast clinic.

    I was in extreme stomach pain and was dealt with immediately, treated with respect .kindness and compassion and was given the appropriate treatment.which involved blood and urine tests very quickly then given pain relief and put on an antibiotic drip and a scan was arranged for the same afternoon . I was offered warm drinks / food , blankets and a comfortable chair I could lie down on in a quiet area . There were 3 lovely kind nurses available in the same room keeping a close watch on me and 3 others which was very reassuring . I was diagnosed late afternoon and seen by another doctor and given the appropriate meds to go home . This is the NHS at his best who also saved my husband Bobs life in April 2023 this year after he suffered a heart attack. I really can’t thank you enough you all deserve a medal staying so calm and professional under such demanding circumstances …Thanks again Barbara Newman

    I went to A&E on Sunday evening with acute stomach/groin pain.I was seen very quickly, given pain relief, had my bloods tested.I then went for a CT Scan where it was found I had numerous kidney stones. All the staff were really helpful and polite and made me comfortable. A really big thank you.
