I would like to thank all the team in Minehead Community Hospitals day surgery unit. From the initial booking and communications , planning of the operation date to the actual surgery and discharge. I can honestly say that all members of staff were caring, friendly, professional and clearly very competent. I was well informed, looked after with care and efficiency. The surgeon was brilliant, demonstrated experience and skill. It was so convenient having a surgical procedure in Minehead, less travel, less cost and more relaxing for me. Having such expertise and opportunity locally is truly valuable. The department was clean, spacious and provided a good environment to have a procedure. I cannot thank the team enough. Keep up the hardwork.

My little boy had been suffering with a cold for a couple days he suddenly took a turn for the worse. I drove him straight to MIU and was seen within 5 minutes. They treated him amazingly and he walked out a completely different boy with a smile on his room running around the room.
