I had Brachyatherapy last week and my stay in Mount Vernon was wonderful. The staff were all lovely and cared for me fantastically. The food was just lovely and I actually looked forward to my meal times. My treatment was exemplary I cannot praise all of the staff highly enough.

Mount Vernon Hospital, your conduct on giving me the news about a close relative on 6th June at 1.20pm is appalling. How can you call a relative up and say......its about your mother? I've got some very, very bad news. You could have said, "Your mother stopped breathing earlier today." In fact, you could have said, "i need to speak to you when it is convenient" Your call to me on 6th June has had a negative effect on my mental health.

I visited Urgent Care Practitioner Service at Mount Vernon Hospital with my sister in law who had injured her hand on a mandolin. A wonderful Nurse called p assessed, treated and dressed this would with such professionalism. P was not only obviously so experienced but also reassuring. What a wonderful NHS Service this is. Thank you and indeed a big thank you to p. Much appreciated service.

Following an operation at University College Hospital London to remove a tumour from my brain, I was referred to Mount Vernon Hospital to receive follow up treatment in the form of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. The Oncology and Cancer Treatment teams have provided me with treatment and support since April 2024 and I cannot thank them enough. From adjusting appointment schedules for blood tests, scans radiotherapy treatment month after month, they have always accommodated me and done so with a smile. My thanks to them all as I go through this process.

Kind caring supportive and professional. We arrived early and were seen quickly. The phlebotomist was great and made me feel comfortable and confident.

I spent over 40 minutes waiting for my phone call to be picked up by staff in the X-Ray department. I kept on receiving a message that I was 1st in the queue. How can I be first in the key and still waiting over 40 minutes? I was so annoyed that I finally decided to put the phone down. Disgusting that they can't be bothered!

I had six eeeks of radiotherapy at Mount Vernon and the care I received was truly exceptional. The staff could not have been kinder of more supportive and they made an unpleasant treatment tolerable. 10/10

I have just had a total hip replacement here and cannot fault the outstanding care and attention of every single one of the staff. I felt so well looked after and reassured - it's a shame I cannot say the same about Hillingdon Hospital - but Mount Vernon staff were excellent including the consultant and surgery staff, the cleaning staff and people bringing the meals, physio, OT anyone else that I've left off - you were all brilliant. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable

I attend my appointment 15mins early and to be told to sit down someone will call you In shortly turned into an 54 Minute wait and they didn’t even know I was sat down and waited apparently. Waste of Time , really bad service.

I have always had a pleasant experience from hospital staff however this morning the staff on reception were extremely rude rolling their eyes at me when I asked through the window where the department was that I was looking for as it was locked and I did not want to miss it. I am sure if their doors were not locked they would not have rolled their eyes, completely unnecessary. They should not be working there if they do not want to help the public!
