  1. Review titled Great maternity experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 July 2022

The Midwife who delivered my baby deserves a Gold medal she was quick to attend to myself in labour. Considering my birthing plan had not yet been done she responded to all my requests and was very patient and reassuring with me due to being in pain! I Had a safe delivery ( natural birth) and Will definitely recommend the birthing suit especially because it is private and feels like a safe place! I had my baby on one of the hottest days of the year and was not affected due to how well the hospital itself was ventilated with air conditioning! Meals were provided and the staff was very welcoming and always knocking to see if baby was ok and if I needed anything. Also the suite I stayed in overnight was nice it had a double bed which allows your partner to sleep beside you! Overall I give 5 star rating considering everyone tried to tell me the hospital was not great especially for maternity I can vouch that this is not the case from my own experience so happy I did not listen to the negativity.

  2. Review titled Extremely long wait hours

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by Zee K - Posted on 10 July 2022

I visited A&E with my 14 months old daughter who was vomiting persistently including a green vomit on an empty stomach. Firstly my mother who came with me wasn’t allowed inside which was very rude and uncalled as the waiting area was empty. When I came there were a maximum of 10 patients ahead of me, still had to wait FIVE hours to see a doctor. Doctor took blood sample and said results will be back in an hour - waited for 2.5 hours and the doctor said that the full results are not back because the blood is clotted and test cannot be performed. Seemed like it was a joke to them. Someone brought a sick child and after waiting for almost 9 hours, all they get told is to go home and bring again if situation worsens. Do not recommend as my child would have perhaps been feeling better at home than being treated carelessly at the hospital.

  3. Review titled Exceptional care and dedication

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Lorraine Faisal - Posted on 20 July 2022

Having spoken to member of the Cardiology team today. The member of staff I spoke to has single handily restored my faith in the NHS system. She was polite, attentive, professional and most of all caring. To solidify matters she acted upon the information that she gave me and as a result I immediately received a response. Words are unable to quantify the gratitude that I have for her and the respect that I have for the NHS system. Thank you team for the remarkable job that you all have done and continue to do.

  4. Review titled Rubbish hospital

Rated 1 star out of 5

Absolutely disgusted with the way the reception staff dealt with our situation in the A & E department. They have no care or sympathy towards anyone and kept on stating different waiting times otherwise. No air con in waiting room. Absolutely no professionalism whatsoever, why do you hire such individuals who do not focus on duty to care to patients? I will never ever come to this hospital again.
