  1. Review titled Unsatisfactory visit

Friday last I went to the Eye Dept, my first for 4 years.A Nurse gave me an eye test which did not feel right, bit strange. When I went to seethe the Consultant he said very seriously my eyesight had deteriorated. He had the report the Nurse had written. I challenged this so he redid the eye test and told me my eyesight was the same as last time and I had passed the visual field test. I was very angry and upset but relieved all was well. I did not get an apology from the Nurse but the Consultant reassured me again about my sight. The whole experience left me very distressed and upset. My concern is how often does this Nurse do invalid eye tests which the Consultants rely on to make important diagnosis. I am thankful to the Consultant for rechecking the test on seeing my disbelief and confirming no deterioration.

I attended the monitor injuries clinic at Moreton this morning. Both the nurses I saw were excellent. Friendly, efficient and caring. Really impressed with the service. Many thanks.

Attended MIU at 734pm sign & telephone message state open 8am-8pm however refused treatment, called unit and advised that last patient entrance is 730pm. Unit was empty no patients in waiting room, however staff needed time to write up notes and clean down. No patient care or concern, called 111 to be seen at Cheltenham OOH

  4. Review titled Excellent Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Sliced my finger open at work. Arrived at Minor Injuries and booked in. The receptionist was polite and said take a seat and I will get you some gauze to cover the wound. Just sat down and was called in straight away. The wound was cleaned, steri strips were applied, and bandaged. All within 5 minutes of arrival. Thank you.
