  1. Review titled Poor caring

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Cheviee - Posted on 05 December 2024

I was a little late for my appointment, bear in mind I have been waiting a long time for this appointment. plus paid a lot of money for train to get down, as a uni student and was told to leave and it would be rescheduled. I spent 10 minutes walking around the whole hospital but As much as need this done I will not be coming back nor do I have the funding to be coming back. Plus doesn’t seem to mind the nurses. That why too many people die before they have the time to get seen

  3. Review titled Amazing Staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Rachel Clarke - Posted on 10 December 2024

I did have to wait 7 hours to be discharged but during that time everyone I saw was kind, genuinely caring and happy. I broke my wrist in 2 places and was in quite a lot of pain. I was given paracetamol and morphine to help. I can not fault the staff at all. The A&E department was totally rammed the whole time I was there but the doctors, nurses and security staff were always polite and helpful. Thank you for treating me so well.

  4. Review titled Poor conditions

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Ilda Hima - Posted on 25 November 2024

Called 111 at 1am due to unbearable pain and dizziness, gave my details and told to wait for a call back from the doctor. I received the call the next day at 10am, when my symptoms had already become milder and manageable. On the phone I am being strongly reccomended to make my way to the hospital anyway and got a referral. Once got there, my partner who was there to accompany and assist me was told to wait outside the of the building. All sits were full so with my feelings of dizziness I waited 45 minutes before finding a free sit. Within an hour I manage to get seen by somebody who confirms I have low blood pressure, and tells me that I need to take a sample of my urine and go back waiting for somebody else to call me to do the other checks. I clearly said to the doctor that staying in the queue was only making my dizziness more acute and that I would have rather gone home at that point unless necessary and urgent. She said that she did not have time to check me further and that I needed to wait in the queue as my blood pressure was low and somebody else needed to see me. My partner waited outside the whole time while there were other people that were clearly not patients hanging around with their loved ones ( and rightfully so). The waiting just made me want to go home and hope for the best without being seen. I am just wondering where are the money I am being deducted every month going, and how much more money do hospital's like this one need. In my opinion some places just need to be shut down, because certain things are common sense and there is no money that can fix that.

  5. Review titled The worst experience in my entire life

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 December 2024

My mum was taken by the ambulance for a brain issue on the 26 November. She was not looked after by any of the staff when coming in. Also, there was no-consideration from the person in charge in the CT scan room whilst she was taking her scan. We were taken in at 11PM and only discharged at 6AM where we experience a terrible time with the staff there. You should take a note and lessons from Barnet hospital as their service was much better. Please train your staff to be responsible and understand a patient needs to look after them. Just because you have a lot of out patients is not a reason to have bad quality or service at a hospital. It is something you should reconsider as hospital from the management. Thank You

  6. Review titled Hydrotherapy Poor Experience

by David Martin - Posted on 01 November 2024

Hydro therapy is only beneficial is you attend regularly or at least once per week. I was referred to Hydrotherapy via NHS for 3 sessions. Unfortunately, my sessions have a 6-week gap, hence there is no benefit to my health with such long gaps. I spoke to the very rude staff member whom greets patients as you enter the hydrotherapy facility. I said “ I can afford to pay for my own therapy, can I cancel my last session ( 5 weeks away ) and Ill pay privately”. (This idea completely made sense in head and creates an extra spot for someone whom can’t afford the therapy) The person was extremely rude and accused me of trying to “play the system” and using a “loop hole”, furthermore he was very rude and dismissed me by saying “go to reception! “your trying to play with a loop hole“ I had no idea where reception was and he certainly wasn’t going to help me. Since when is paying for your own private treatment “finding a loop hole “and how is 5 weeks gaps between sessions beneficial? After having such a fantastic experience with the other amazing staff, this staff member made me feel absolutely awful and completely embarrassed in front of others. I suffer from severe PTSD and really dont want to return. And to accused of trying to use a loop hole to pay for my own treatment is absolutely ridiculous. Overall the facility is fantastic and the remaining staff are professional and friendly. But the experience with the meet and greet person was horrendous!

  7. Review titled Discharge Lounge

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 October 2024

I waited in the Discharge Lounge - Friday 18th October with my 83 year old mum whom had just been discharged awaiting transport home. I got to the lounge and was welcomed by the Manager with a big smile. I felt like I was going into his home. I was there with my mum a few hours and observed as the manager directed his team and dealt with every situation effectively, patients coming in, patients leaving, transport staff in and out, calls, queries, he dealt with everything effortlessly with a big smile for all, he even found time to offer cups of tea. The lovely nurse was non stop, attentive, kind and so gentle with every patient. I was so impressed with the team. I am really impressed that you can all be so friendly and happy under so much pressure. Thank you And thank you for looking after my mum I noticed that the discharge lounge is not listed as a department on the review section.

  8. Review titled Appointment delays and poor reception

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 31 October 2024

Receptionist was extremely slow, looked pretty disinterested, had no idea about likely waiting times. Waited 45 minutes, I just don’t see why there was this delay. Building is dilapidated, water coming through the ceiling, really poor interior. On a positive, once I saw the doctor, he was professional and efficient!

  9. Review titled Worst service/ hospital

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Asma Tabibi - Posted on 24 October 2024

I experienced chest pain and shortness of breathe and I attended this hospital to check out my symptoms, I arrived at AE at 8:30 and left the hospital at 6:30 the next day without being seen by a Dr, I waited for 10 hours and still not seen by Dr and I give up and left. I wll me making formal complaint. This is the most poorest on NHS service at Northwick Park I have encountered.

  10. Review titled Exceptional Pallative team and Ward care

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 05 November 2024

My mum was in Jonson Ward for over 6 weeks on Pallative care . The ward staff were absolutely amazing- caring, dedicated and compassionate. The Pallative team are exceptional in the service which they offer and they left no stone unturned to make my mum comfortable and pain free. They also ensured that as a family we were also supported. A huge thank you to both the ward and pallative team!
