Review titled Hydrotherapy Poor Experience
by David Martin - Posted on 01 November 2024
Hydro therapy is only beneficial is you attend regularly or at least once per week. I was referred to Hydrotherapy via NHS for 3 sessions. Unfortunately, my sessions have a 6-week gap, hence there is no benefit to my health with such long gaps. I spoke to the very rude staff member whom greets patients as you enter the hydrotherapy facility. I said “ I can afford to pay for my own therapy, can I cancel my last session ( 5 weeks away ) and Ill pay privately”. (This idea completely made sense in head and creates an extra spot for someone whom can’t afford the therapy) The person was extremely rude and accused me of trying to “play the system” and using a “loop hole”, furthermore he was very rude and dismissed me by saying “go to reception! “your trying to play with a loop hole“ I had no idea where reception was and he certainly wasn’t going to help me. Since when is paying for your own private treatment “finding a loop hole “and how is 5 weeks gaps between sessions beneficial? After having such a fantastic experience with the other amazing staff, this staff member made me feel absolutely awful and completely embarrassed in front of others. I suffer from severe PTSD and really dont want to return. And to accused of trying to use a loop hole to pay for my own treatment is absolutely ridiculous. Overall the facility is fantastic and the remaining staff are professional and friendly. But the experience with the meet and greet person was horrendous!

Review titled Discharge Lounge
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 20 October 2024
I waited in the Discharge Lounge - Friday 18th October with my 83 year old mum whom had just been discharged awaiting transport home. I got to the lounge and was welcomed by the Manager with a big smile. I felt like I was going into his home. I was there with my mum a few hours and observed as the manager directed his team and dealt with every situation effectively, patients coming in, patients leaving, transport staff in and out, calls, queries, he dealt with everything effortlessly with a big smile for all, he even found time to offer cups of tea. The lovely nurse was non stop, attentive, kind and so gentle with every patient. I was so impressed with the team. I am really impressed that you can all be so friendly and happy under so much pressure. Thank you And thank you for looking after my mum I noticed that the discharge lounge is not listed as a department on the review section.

Review titled Appointment delays and poor reception
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 31 October 2024
Receptionist was extremely slow, looked pretty disinterested, had no idea about likely waiting times. Waited 45 minutes, I just don’t see why there was this delay. Building is dilapidated, water coming through the ceiling, really poor interior. On a positive, once I saw the doctor, he was professional and efficient!

Review titled Worst service/ hospital
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Asma Tabibi - Posted on 24 October 2024
I experienced chest pain and shortness of breathe and I attended this hospital to check out my symptoms, I arrived at AE at 8:30 and left the hospital at 6:30 the next day without being seen by a Dr, I waited for 10 hours and still not seen by Dr and I give up and left. I wll me making formal complaint. This is the most poorest on NHS service at Northwick Park I have encountered.

Review titled Exceptional Pallative team and Ward care
Rated 4 stars out of 5

My mum was in Jonson Ward for over 6 weeks on Pallative care . The ward staff were absolutely amazing- caring, dedicated and compassionate. The Pallative team are exceptional in the service which they offer and they left no stone unturned to make my mum comfortable and pain free. They also ensured that as a family we were also supported. A huge thank you to both the ward and pallative team!

Rated 5 stars out of 5
by John - Posted on 01 October 2024
I was in the cafeteria being served by one of the staff she was very helpful and polite, Two customers were very rude to her and said they were going to complain about her and get her the sack, I was sitting at a table next to them, I continued to watch the staff member and she was very polite to everyone she served. Just thought I needed to forward this to you, Many thanks to all the staff at Costa Coffee Northwick park. 👏👏💯

Review titled Thank you staff!
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Camilla - Posted on 22 August 2024
I recently visited the Urgent Care unit at Northwick Park Hospital and was very pleased with the help I received. The staff—receptionists, nurses, and doctors—were all friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. Despite the obvious challenges of staff shortages and a high volume of patients, they did a brilliant job. Also, the waiting time was very reasonable especially given the circumstances. Thank you to the team for your hard work!

by Mary - Posted on 14 August 2024
My husband Recently admitted to Gray Ward with kidney stones which required a kidney stent procedure. The care and Attention on he received whilst on Gray Ward was amazing. all the staff for highly professional polite. There is shortage of staff within the hospital, but this did not affect the care and attention he received. We want to say a big thank you to the staff in Gray Ward.

Review titled Dermatology Booking
Rated 1 star out of 5

I have never in my life experienced such a poor service. 2 week fast track cancer appointment is now going to take 2 months, I cannot believe this level of service. Just let the cancer spread while you wait. C Q C need to place it in special measures.
