    My partial knee replacement was conducted by an exceptional team from across the Hospital including reception, catering, cleaning, admin, pharmacy, x ray, outpatients, to nurses and and to the surgical team. The attention to detail, empathy shown, cleanliness and support to me as the patient and my wife as nok was faultless throughout. The environment was calm and the staff working as very well motivated team was nice to see. Well done to all and thank you - progress to date post surgery is going well if a little painful!

    I was referred to Nuffield Plymouth for a full knee replacement. I experienced outstanding service from the outset. My consultant, the surgical, nursing and support staff provided 5 star service. The best practice throughout.

    The staff were the ultimate in kind and caring experience. The surgeon was the patient and explained everything clearly. Previously I have had issues with my BP owing to fear and stress, but not here as it was calm from start to finish. Thank you for sending me there!

    What can I say about the theatre team I had, top team, couldn't ask for more, had a full knee replacement and everyone played their part. I really am grateful for this team for putting me at ease and making sure this operation went as smoothly as it possibly could.

    Whilst uneasy about using a private facility I cannot fault the experience. Staff are without exception polite, professional and approachable. The facilities are exemplary and immaculately clean and well presented. The service from initial contact was speedily expedited.

    I underwent total knee replacement surgery on two occasions in September 21 and Feb 23 and would like to say that on both occasions the treatment and care I received from the surgeon and nurses was exemplary . My stayin hospital was for 2/3 days and on discharge was given adequate medication and an ice cuff My wound was covered in a waterproof dressing and so was able to shower the day after the operation ,The clips were removed by a nurse at the doctor's surgery after 10 days. The followup physio and excercises ensured myknee attained the maximum bend. However not all NHS providers in Plymouth are as helpful . My neighbour had a total knee replacement on 5th May this year. She was discharged the day following the operation with medication but no ice cuff. Her wound has been glued and covered Una waterproof dressing but with instructions not to shower for 2weeks When she rang her surgery for an appointment for the dressing to be changed in 10 daysan appointment was not available and she was told to go to A&E . I feel very fortunate to have attended the Nuffield for my operations and fail to see why other providers are not as effective.
