Review titled Excellent service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Vincent Rainardi - Posted on 16 July 2022
I was on holiday in the Lake District and had a red eye. Went to the Urgent Treatment Centre on 111's recommendation and was seen very quickly by the nurses. Went back the next day because it got worse and waited a bit, seen by nurses, then a GP who was very thorough. They referred me to the eye clinic in Carlisle on the same day. Was seen by an eye doctor there, given eye drops, and a few days later my red eye was normal again. Thank you so much for providing such an excellent health service and treating me well.

Review titled 2 wonderful members of staff!
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Kayleigh Pugh - Posted on 06 July 2022
I came in after dislocating my knee and hurting my ankle (turns out it was snapped in 2 places!) and the 2 ladies that looked after me were amazing, I think one was a student. I was in a lot of pain and on my own and they comforted me and calmed me down. I can’t remember their names but but it was the 1st July around 3pm in the A&E department. After my X-ray they put me in a cast, made sure it was comfortable for me and made sure I made it to the car safely. I honestly can not thank them enough for their amazing service. The only negative was in the X-ray department, I needed help getting onto the bed to have the X-ray, having 2 broken bones in my ankle and also dislocating my knee, it was very painful to lift it and I was left to get on the bed by myself with no help, even after asking the man for help while crying in pain.
