Took my 6 year old in and we saw a very kind, patient clinician who made my son feel at ease. The chap who did the triage was equally as kind. We also saw a nurse to take some observations and she was so so lovely. This made the whole experience a lot easier. The only downside was the receptionist who I found a little rude and abrupt but who knows she could be having a bad day. Thank you to every we saw for treating my son so amazing

On arranging an appointment through 111, I arrived on time to see a full waiting room. However, within a few minutes a triage nurse called me through and started the process. Within one hour, I had seen triage nurse, a doctor, sent for x-rays and then back to the doctor for the results. A very efficient, friendly and professional service. Thank you to all the staff at Petersfield MIU. Lastly, as per their website they advise people to contact 111 first rather than just turning up as you then have an appointment time. In my experience this really helped with being seen swiftly, but may have been my reason for attending.Some people had been there for 3 hours plus and moaned about appointments should be available!

From the very moment i entered the hospital i was well looked after i was made to feel welcome all the staff where amazing and nothing was to much trouble. everyone from the doctor to the guy who gave me hot drinks they are all very professional. so thank you everyone it was much appreciated and good luck too you all.

From reception initially, through triage and then to the practitioner, it was a totally seamless service delivered with courtesy and absolute professionalism. All done with a smile! Brilliant.

My 2 year old daughter was diagnosed with a UTI and given antibiotics. After finishing her course of antibiotics she was still showing signs of a UTI and getting worse. On Easter Sunday we decided she needed to be seen at Urgent Treatment and we took a urine sample with us so they could check if her infection was still present. After triage, they refused to test her urine stating that she had already taken a course of antibiotics and that any test done would come back negative. I explained that I was worried the infection wasn’t responding to the medicine and that she was getting worse. They shook their head at me and told me she looked fine, they would not be testing her urine or giving any more antibiotics. They then opened the bin for me to throw the urine sample away. I was also told I could go back out to the waiting room for someone “to put their hands on her” but they wouldn’t do anything else. They also said she looked fine and said she was probably making it up. We went home. My 2 year old daughter’s symptoms continued to get worse and she was in absolute agony until her GP surgery opened on Tuesday where I was able to get her an appointment. They tested her urine which confirmed she still had a UTI and prescribed her a different antibiotic. I don’t understand why Petersfield wouldn’t help us—was it all just to save the cost of a test or are the staff there just that incompetent? After 2 terrible experiences at this hospital, we will never go back. Avoid if you can!

I found the staff in the Ultrasound Department to be very professional as well as very kind and caring while carrying out my examination.

arrived feeling anxious scared nervous - left feeling totally calm and reassured. wonderful staff from recetion to nurse - never had better or kinder treatment in all my 80 years! one week of acute worry wiped away in half an hour. so grateful this place exists.

I attended the Petersfield Hospital Emergency Treatment clinic at the insstructions from my GP practice reception as I suspected a thrombosis. Both the triage, full assessment and referral were handled very efficiently by friendly nurses and I was fully satisfied with all aspects of the treatment. The Emergency Treatment department at Petersfield is a great asset to the locality.

Dropped in to Petersfield UTC with a wound to my finger that wouldn’t stop bleeding. I was seen quickly and the nurses that dealt with me were friendly and professional, I was out of there within the hour. Thank you!

I recently spent time in Petersfield hospital, and I can’t praise the staff there enough. From the doctors to the lady who brought the tea, they were all so kind and helpful. So a big thank you and best wishes to you all.
